TLDR: People are falsie reporting anyone by saying “X person is afk vote them afk” in chat, I had one guy on my healer alt complain in colorful words that I wasnt healing him in a group of 5 despite healing more low health players, I just blew off his words and didn’t respond and 2 seconds later he said I was afk and to report me and all I got out what “What?” and 1 second alter I was kicked, this has happened a lot of my healer but barley on my dps I assume because people blame healers for their death and yet there are 0 repercussions for this widespread false reporting/kicking. I can imagin that other people who are not paying attention just listen and report afk and since it requires so few now, I have heard from other, top tier pvp healers that they have been kicked jsut for putting 1 guy on ignore because that guy just says they are afk in chat and they get kicked to. Please crack down on falsae reporting, I miss when gms actually checked if you were afk and not just instant kick it’ snot like our sub money is going to anything else with how this expansion is going.
If you participate and cooperate with your team, you will not be kicked from the BG.

If you aren’t getting along with your team, why do you want to play with them anyway? Move on and queue up for another. If you are getting vote kicked repeatedly, the issue is probably something you are doing.
Incorrect they did, “Participate and cooperate” so healing your team during a team fight and getting killed in the backline with no help and getting blamed and bg kicked is no cooperating? Yeah you are a troll rofl. Oh and before a non troll asks, I said nothing in chat and focused on just doing the objective and healing those who were fighting.

If all went according to plan, nothing was out of the norm, why did they all decide to kick you then?
Er last time i checked the function for vote kick is for AFK, if the person is not AFK they should not kick him regardless of how bad hes doing / not healing, cant just kick people based on their performance lol thats not what the meaning of AFK
They clearly stated that they were healing more-injured teammates.

The option is Vote Player Away. It’s abused and yes you can kick people on their performance. I’m chaining epics right now(14 loss streak)we just kicked a gear warrior from Tich because he said he was carrying us. 99% of players don’t even look into why someone in chat says to vote “whoever” away. They right click the persons portrait and say bye bye 9 out of 10 times, every time.
Well we know someones alt now from the post yesterday from the same person throwing stuff out that wasn’t true.

If you were healing most of the group then why would they kick you?
Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Try not to take it personally. Sometimes groups just don’t go well and it’s best to just move on.
It’s not vote, it’s simply report player afk. Using it on anyone that is either not AFK or not-participating is abuse of the function but Blizzard doesn’t really care.
This is where I’m confused. Why would a group kick someone when that player is actively doing their role?
And if it wasn’t a group kick, then how could a player who is actively doing their role get removed for being afk?
It doesn’t make sense to me but then it’s been a long time since I’ve grouped up for anything longer than 10 minutes.
It really isn’t. I rarely see anybody removed, and on the rare occasion it’s generally because they’re AFK.
This was never a thing. You just get lobbed after x reports in y period of time.
Personally, I think there’s more to the story that isn’t being said. 
It takes a while for another person to zone in and for them to get ready to fight. People would be actively harming their own chances if they just kicked people that WERE participating all willy nilly.

Then you don’t understand people that play this game, at all. It’s literally a game so they don’t care if they kick people, especially to be spiteful or if they’re already losing or feel slighted.

‘Seldom’ =/= it’s not happening. It’s happened to me ever since it was introduced in Cata. If it’s used on someone found to NOT be afk or actually participating then ALL people that used the report should be actioned. Now that’s an example of something that DOESN’T happen.
