I tried telling you guys.
I just did my first Blitz in months… Honor Levels 81, 84 healers… stayed mid all game. Our FC asked for heals - everyone in the BG trashed him. That’s right - our FC expected some heals.
They spent the whole game calling him names.

If I can stick with Blitz for even a week come TWW - I’ll be shocked.

Ya I highly doubt that’s true whatsoever… healers mid sure… everyone trash talking him? no way.
Those players won’t climb rating. Just like solo shuffle, the only thing that will kill RBGB is long queue times. Or if premade cheaters somehow find a way to infest that game mode but I hope not.

My favorite part was at the end… when they called him an ‘‘average player’’ because he stopped running the flag.

I’m 0-2… we got 3 capped in BfG - because our healers never left the boat.
Edit - one actually did leave the boat… but I would have rather him just stayed there.
I guess chilling on the boat is his answer to account wide deserter.

In prepatch the way to win is be a tank, go to a node that is about to change, cap it when solo enemy is cced or kill the one guy that decided to single sit it instead of abandoning it when his team left him/her by themselves, collect rating.

Yeah, but this has also happened to me in a 2K+ rated match from a rated arena healer.
I complained about not getting any help or healing while trying to run flag as SP. The healer and his duo queue DPS partner fighting in mid the entire game proceeded to call me bad and asking why I was trying to run the flag as SP.
And, of course, the only reason I was trying to run the flag is because it was a no tank match and nobody else was trying. It’s like they thought the flag would just magically jump off of the platform and start running across the field by itself.
Trust me, idiocy is not exclusive to low honor level or unrated players.

The BG Blitz of EOTS is for sure going to have some growing pains among players.

Could see this coming a mile away. Maybe people will get it by TWW S1.
Personal opinion, but I disagree. I think it is a very good design when people know how it works. In other words, it is entirely a player issue.

It is a good design but blizzard has to chill with the multiple version of the same BG. Wouldve been easier to change the skin, make it green and call it something else so players know it’s a different BG.
