BG Blitz Rating Being sold for up to $2000 on websites

Just did a google search. How is blizzard not suing these people? There are literally like 6-7 webpages…sponsored webpages. Lmao. There is no way they aren’t aware of this…I know it’s been going on forever but honestly I’ve never looked. That’s honestly kinda crazy. Lmao…guess I officially quit pvp that’s actually just incredibly disheartening. Oh well…I wish I wouldn’t have looked. It’s been fun I guess.

Real Money cheating is out in the open for all to see…

I would not leave just yet, they are making Blitz system adjustments tomorrow, it will help. As for the websites, you wanna be here for Blizzards Big annual Ban Waves, those are endless laughs. All the excuses lol.

I mean who are we kidding. I’m not going anywhere. Lmao. But, I probably won’t be doing any pvp for at least a couple weeks till I see what these changes bring.

You will know soon if the changes affect the real money boosting issue…

ALOT of players and streamers will be crying about how they dislike the Blitz changes… Meaning the boosters are making alot less money lol.

“but you live in a society” type of response

It’s clear you have little idea what is actually going on. Or you do and just continue with this stuff. But if you are going to troll at least try to use arcuate information. BGB activity wise is like 1/4 of RSS right now and been like that pretty much since the season started. Disappointing but the wonky MMR and no clarity on how placements work probably didn’t help. Not to mention all the conspiracy like theories floating around (like yours).

“ALOT” as you you put it based on what? Everyone that loves BGB and plays it that I know thought these changes were good, and have been asking for them since day one. Some since it first came out as a brawl even.

Last night I landed in a premade, the premade team had 4 hunters on it, so yeah I think this Patch today will help!

It makes it harder for Premades to stack their team the way they want it. Not a fix all but it will help…

Personally I gots ma surf board waxed, waiting for the Blizzard annual Ban Wave! Epic laughs coming.

Most (all?) of those boosters are from other countries and it would cost Blizzard hundreds of thousands of dollars each to sue them, with no guarantee they’ll ever even find out who is running those sites, never mind dragging them to a US court room.
All for them to just pop back up again the next week.

Yea I guess this is true. Kind of crazy to see it out blatantly like that though. Not even a cease and desist or anything? Just sucks. I don’t pretend to know what to do about it because you’re absolutely right. Must be kind of a nightmare for them. Probably why they are so quiet when it comes to pvp stuff.

I used to work retail and the number of elderly customers who got hit by those “your pc has a virus, call us at 1-800, we’re totally Microsoft and legit!” scams is just depressing.
But all those scammers are out of country, and it makes it really hard to shut them down.

It’s not like they are in the states so you can just hit them with a lawsuit in small claims court, or organize a class action lawsuit.
If I remember correctly, shutting down just one of those out of country scam call centers involved considerable resources from the US government themselves to do. It’s unlikely Blizzard could do anything if it’s so hard even for the government to.

Yea very good point. Kind of a shame really.

Multi Million dollar operation these websites are extracting from the wow player base, thats money that could go into the game, more content for us the players.

Blizzard needs some internal reviews, some investigations into whats going on.

how do you think people get from 0 rating 2400+?

you’re the one coping lol

What do you mean? Rng in a team-based game mode and the weird way mmr skyrockets after yours exceeds 2k means that getting 2400 as a bad player right now is quite literally the easiest it’s ever been in the history of WoW.

unsheathes dynamic IP

Blizzard is punishing the ones using exploits after the patch, they know whats going on, they just have their hands full atm. They will get to it!

I bet they will close the loop holes making is harder to queue sync, instead of banning thousands of players who bought the 1600 boost. PvE for sure the ones who exploited at the high end are getting a ban. Blizz has not forgotten the players!

People that think IP bans or hardware bans ( ie: MAC ) are effective in 2024 are comical.

Only at blizz HQ does solo rated blitz mean 2 people can queue together.

Most people get there the old-fashioned way by putting in the reps and getting to a 50%+ win rate.

Win trading helps ensure they stay there.

But then again, based on your question and existing commentary, I kind of get the sense you think everyone exploits.
