24 hour account wide lockout from joining again.
Having a person not join is bad. Having another leave in the first 3 mins is annoying.
Punish people for deserting. Let them rot in random bgs

Much like Solo Shuffle, the other players time is not being respected by leavers, but I don’t expect real punishments for leavers.
Partially due to players(including myself) experiencing excepting queues, getting a loading screen, then still being where we were before the queue was ready for us AND recieving a 15min debuff.
We chose to be in the bg,ebg,bgb or whatever, but there is a game bug issue that doesnt always let us join. This bug has been reported already. Hopefully it is fixed.
I think part of it is that rated and non-rated are on seperate deserter systems. Blitz counts as rated.
So players can leave one mode for another without penalty. Perhaps they should count Blitz as non-rated until/if it actually does go rated.
Blitz is still in the testing phase so none of the penalties really matter. I imagine when it’s actually rated the penalties will be like shuffle - continue to leave and they take action on your account.
Sucks for now but a lot of stuff about blitz sucks right now. We’ll see if they listen to feedback

Also there needs to be a new report feature for the ‘It’s just a game’ kids who don’t want to win. Or care at all about the game mode.
Why pvp at all if you don’t want to win and waste the time of people who do.
Ban these accounts from any pvp.
Well, the penalties in Blitz are the same as if you are in a rated battleground. So it might not matter to the person quitting who has no CR to lose (for now). But it does matter to the people they left behind because, like rated bgs, Blitz can’t be backfilled.
Not after the gate opens, anyway. You can get backfill for people who leave before the BG starts.
Ya it backfills before the gates open. They should really make it easier to report the people who leave after the gates open
