That’s weird because people hate-reported me in several AVs for calling out AFKers, and somehow I didn’t get banned.
Maybe because a GM reviewed it and saw I was playing the game and not beating my meat

I leveled my shaman from 60-70 in Alterac valley and didn’t get banned.
Maybe because I wasn’t afk
AV is for levels 51+…
not much different from boosted 70s
He’s being satirical, in that even if the guy was participating, it wasn’t, “good enough”.
He “tested” it years and years ago and Blizzard specifically came out and said he was suspended for abusing the report system. The system they use pushes tickets up based on number of reports, so they saw him telling people to report him and suspended him for doing so.
Surely he was only banned for abusing the report system. Clueless…

Placing an appeal is your only option. I caught a suspension on the account I have my DK on. I would really like to see a system that punishes toxic players for abusing the report AFK system when someone gets a approved Appeal. Oddly I can’t even post on forums on the second account either, it was “silence”
And honestly it’s very off topic anyways, low level who aren’t afking are better than an afk level 70 who are thankfully getting ban hammers.

Players do get punished for this but it’s not always an abuse of the reporting feature. Sometimes it could just be a mistake. In this instance, if someone is defending a tower and people report them, it likely isn’t abuse.
Everytime the same. People afk and shockingly come to the forums cause they got banned. I played bgs in vanilla and tbc classic and I know how it is. There is always afkers and its good they ban them now. Most of you are not innocent.
Go to retail.
There’s a reason participation numbers of classic makes retail look like a small indie $2 steam game
I dare you to go spend a day in av now
Then take out low-leveling queueing? What are you talking about
I dare you to go spend a day in av now
I wont because I dont need to. I got 100 marks and honorcap and in the entirety of classic vanilla and tbc doing bgs I never received a ban for afking. False flags are possible but you cant deny there is and always will be a lot of cave afkers or people who afk in burned down bunkers.
Bot posting this on every thread, they fired a significant amount of their GMs. Show supporting documents that each ban is reviewed and not an automated system, which it is.
No its definitely automated. It probably auto-bans people that get reported for AFK with no real human interaction. Blizzard has like 6 people tops working on Classic. There’s absolutely zero chance that anyone is looking at these reports.
Everything you said here is false.
Classic team is getting larger, read this thread:
I don’t need to either, I am honor capped and have my cross the board 100 marks. However, if I did not, I wouldn’t risk it now. If you are so certain blizzard is fair and you won’t have an issue, why not see for yourself?
I recommend taking it to twitter. I doubt anyone in CS even looks at these forums. Just bombard them once twitter until they relent.
why not see for yourself?
Because there is no point doing bgs when you are capped. Its been the same for tbc prepatch. People afked and forums were flooded by “false flags”. Its the people who a) never done bgs or b) are tourists being shocked for being banned by disrupting gameplay.
