In light of the metamorphosis rune discovery… For players to get this heavily desired rune, they must clear BFD, a level 25 raid. So, I ask this, how will people get the rune in future phases? Making people run an old raid specifically for this rune (and this rune alone) will only end in having to pay people to attend a BFD clear at level 40, 50, and potentially 60. To not scale up BFD and still require it for Metamorphosis is a slap in the face to anyone who may consider warlock as their future alt in the coming phases. This is the equivalent to requiring a Molten Core clear to learn a level 80 spell in WotLK. BFD must be scaled up to match future level caps, or it must be absolutely removed from obtaining the Meta rune.

If it’s scaled up, wouldn’t new players joining later on have to wait even longer before getting Meta? That…doesn’t sound good.

True, in that case the BFD step should just be removed or add a 5-man instance entrance to BFD

BFD should be scaled up anyways. Having another raid at 60 would be fun.

Obviously Blizzard intends BFD to be run while leveling up. Wouldn’t people want to anyway? The gear will definitely make leveling easier. I know it’s technically a raid, but we should probably think of it more as a 10 man dungeon, especially since the level 60 raids are still expected to be 40 man.

Ubrs drops the highest rank of eviscerate and ferioucious bite…its a 10 player raid was 15 originally and people still ran it all of classic, given the ease of BFD and the fact it gives good gear i think people will still clear it while lvling

Kinda forgot about that stuff. Lot of final rank abilities are learned from dungeon and raids.

Not sure what your social situation is like but I don’t think most people are worried about it.
If you just pug, I guess this could be an issue?
Join a guild. BFD will be run for a long time. You can pretend to be the hero and help others complete it and still get what you need.
You take this game way too seriously.
