seriously we got 2 weeks of phase 1…why is BFD still on a lockout?

Why wouldn’t it? It’s not like they’ve ever removed lockouts from raids just because the next tier of content came out, or even new expansions. Just because you’re still missing some drops or haven’t cleared the raid yet doesn’t justify removing the lockout, these phases are fairly short so just assume you’re not going to get everything you want before the next phase comes out.

Because thats how classic always works. If you want instant gratification retail might be for you. Even MC will have a lockout when naxx comes out.

“Omg AQ40 is out, why is MC on a lockout” See how dumb that sounds? Raid is a raid, they dont change lockouts just because new content has released or is getting close to releasing
Not understanding this post, retail raids effectively have the same system, mythic has a lockout and heroic/normal/lfr you are only eligible for loot once a week.
BFD is a leveling dungeon lol …none of them that are being converted to raids should retain a lockout once there respective phase is over or nearly over
why isnt all the BFD loot mailed to all of my characters yet!? Phase 2 is almost out! I cannot stand for this violence against me!

if blizz wants to remove the lock out after the phase is over that’s fine, while it’s still active: absolutely not.
BFD was a leveling dungeon, SoD changed that, so now it’s a raid and follows raid lockout rules. The only justification I could see to remove the lockout would be if after the phase ends it reverts back to the normal 5man and all raid rewards are removed.
yes and before this raids were only at max level to no low level dungeon ever had a lockout in the history of vanilla wow.

well less than week left and it still has a lockout…really hope its removed next week. it honestly should be gone because there will be groups out there demanding casters have full BFD Pre bis since casters dont do squat with out spell damage gear outside like 3 crafted pieces there is no spell dmg gear other than SM shoulders lol.mageweave pants…2 peices of dreamweave
Strange, you have a 60 so I would think you aren’t new to WoW…but since you are asking I’ll clarify.

cool take but BFD is nothing more than level 25 ubrs and gnomer will be the same but at 40.difference will be gnomer will be relevant content for a bit while BFD will be leveling content.
UBRS was never an endgame raid, as a matter of fact LBRS and UBRS are the exact same dungeon. Guess what happened to the lockouts on MC/BWL/AQ/etc when TBC came out? Nothing…Because they are still raids…and raids have lockouts.
BFD will no longer be an end game raid either doesnt change the fact though that alot of bfd loot will still be pre bis though and you will most likely be required to have it if you want to pug on your alts. or even some guilds depending how sweaty they are.
