BfA won Gamers` Choice Awards 🏆

And many more played this game and unsubscribed.

What exactly is your point here? Are you saying people aren’t allowed to be negative about the game? Aww boo-hoo

If they can make hundreds of thousands of dislikes disappear from the Diablo Immortal trailer, they can also rig a gaming vote. It’s not deserved and it’s

FAKE NEWS!

Nope. The voting site shows just 2.18 million cumulative votes across dozens of categories and nominees – even with hourly voting.

Just saying if you think millions of un-subbed people voted for wow for best mmorpg then your kidding yourself makes no sense whatsoever.

Basically this award says the competitors are worse than WoW
The MMOs I’ve seen don’t show anything impressive. GW1 is better than GW2 and WoW is also better than GW2, Rift, Everquest, Elder Scrolls Online and SWTOR!

Everything popular in Media is falling to madness despite remaining at the top!

It’s a popularity contest
not a “what MMO is the best!” contest so of course WoW won.

Why would millions of unsubbed people vote for WoW? Lol you aren’t making any sense and that’s not what I said at all.

I’m saying millions of people have moved on from WoW with other games or their lives. WoW is not nearly as popular as it used to be.

Lol okay bye now :slightly_smiling_face:

This is not a fact at all, just an opinion. As long as there is no ability to downvote in such a “poll” as this, and anyone can spam multiple votes, your claim is based on nothing but wishful thinking.

As I have said, WoW, in its current incarnation doesn’t deserve an award IMO, therefore I did not cast a vote for it. However, no other MMORPG deserves my vote either. When the most popular MMORPG wins the for the most popular MMORPG it is not a surprise.

Just because WoW is still the most popular MMORPG among a field of competitors so small you could barely make a full basketball team with them, doesn’t mean its good, well marketed yes, but not good. Furthermore, it doesn’t mean the so-called “vocal minority” on the forums is wrong either or that they’re still the “minority”.

All of the above is my personal opinion, and as such, it is fact for me. Take it as you wish.

Semper Fi! :us:

I saw what it is up against in competition and could not help but laugh til it hurt.

The line up with like Lebron James vs some middle schoolers. Lets me real, this was a very hallow victory. But the ego that will come from this as far as the eye can see

its missing the persistent world, its missing RP, its lacking the mass multiplayer

BfA is missing fun. Anything else would be forgivable.

Fun is the one thing that money can’t buy.

I guess its nice that they won but legitimate question how many other mmorpg have a big enough fanbase to even compete with WoW fans voting? I personally don’t mind BFA so this isn’t a troll post.

The fact of the matter is, the people who don’t like the game are the ones who go on the forums to complain. You rarely, if never, see people come here to celebrate the success of the game. The forums are either a place to ask questions or to complain.

It’s the typical “I played once in vanilla and never again but I really liked it you have my vote”.

Not true at all. I’ve been on these forums since the first ones and this is the 3rd iteration of the forums also. Yes complainers have always existed but the praise is there as well. They just get dismissed as shills which is common. The game is not in a good spot, whether you agree or not. It needs to be improved and while people pretend like they want it to burn to the ground, would rather see it get fixed and fun to play again.
