Hey blizz, I know the game is being created by lawyers at this point so I’ll give you some help, when my caster gets a “weapon cache” and I see an off-hand drop, that’s not a weapon and it’s incredibly frustrating. I have a 325 dagger and a 370 off-hand and I get a 365 off-hand as a drop. Then on my assassination rogue I get a 370 mace which is unusable for assassination.

This is unacceptable, you need to turn these kinds of weapon caches into quests where the player can pick the weapon type or change the system to be a “smart” system that actually looks at things like current gear and usable weapon types for a spec. I know the game is run by lawyers at this point but if there is still a gamer working at blizz please explain to the lawyers that this is the kind of bullsht that makes players just log off and go play fortnite.

They added 340 crafted BOE in 8.1 including weapons, i been crafting a bunch for my alts coming up to 120.

On my Brewmaster Monk (who is specced in BM only) got a Mistweaver weapon.
My Enhance Shaman got a Resto weapon and even from a WQ got a Resto trinket that does not swap Int to Agi.
The only toon of mine that received an actual upgrade to use for MAIN SPEC was my Demon Hunter, but only by class design.

Give us a choice for rewards so we can play the game HOW we want to.

I read somewhere that game director Hatzi-useless or w/e his name is, said that players who commit to one spec should be rewarded. Well, tell that to my BM Monk as I mentioned above.

Ion switched careers years ago. Is that not allowed? He’s been working on WoW for years now in lower positions in the dev team.

I want a choice as well. RNG just makes all your effort seem like it’s good for nothing.

Today I did my incursion with Fury Spec drop preference, and I got a shield from the cache box. It was an upgrade for my off spec so I didn’t mind but nevertheless bit confused about the drop. I was expecting a 2-hand weapon really…

How do you only have a 325 dagger when they hand out free 340 gear?

What really rubs me the wrong way about it is they have a loot spec system in place specifically for solving for this scenario, yet the caches, WQ and Warfront rewards aren’t respecting it.

My Mistweaver got a Brewmaster polearm.

Then my Blood DK got a Frost 1-hander.

Then my Fury warrior got a shield.

It seems like a trivial matter to set these things to respect loot spec.

Also a brewmaster. My best ilvl staff so far this expansion remains the 345 warforged INT staff I got a couple weeks in. Most of my “weapons” have been off-hands for mistweaver.

Today the game finally made the mistake of giving me an actual 370 weapon…for windwalker. I’m a WW 3 hours per week in raid, but hey, I’ll still take it.

Except boomies can actually use 2H intellect maces.

If you only have a 325 dagger, just go and do your weekly conquest cap. First week will net you a nice 355 dagger.
