Legion was the was the most fun I had gaming probably ever. The Artifact appearances, transmog, lore, set bonuses, class order halls and sets, legendaries, amazing world drops and TITANFORGING. Everything you did in that expansion was rewarding. Also let’s not forget Legion had some sweet mounts including the class mounts. I do think Legion was the Pinnacle Mmorpg expansion probably ever across all titles.
You won’t be able to farm them till 5 years from now because the scaling will still be broken.
Better looking graphics on Horde side too.
Someone most have forgotten all the twists people’s underwear was in for the first year of BFA due to AZ armor traits and the HoA leveling requirement… BFA didn’t actually get good until like 8.2 and then the ruined it with the stupid corruption system.
BFAs system were just as grindy, you just had enough time to become use to them.
It honestly was. And BFA was garbage.
Nope Its just in the past and they cant remember it.
Players: No expansion could ever be worse than BfA.
Blizzard: Hold my beer!
A lot of people liked the corruption system once it was purchasable at the vendor. The initial RNG and even the rotating vendor selection were terrible though.
Sure they did, because it made them stupidly OP. I mean who didn’t like being able to stack 5 TD and nuking down everything with a proc? Or stacking a ton of gushing wound and bleeding people to death in PvP.
The system was poorly thought up from a balance stand point, the only reason it didn’t matter is because it was the tail end of the expansion and no one cared any more.
BFA was an above average expansion
This was my review at end of BFA before Shadowlands saying it did more good than bad and it was a pretty good expansion. People lost their minds look at the thread. Over time I am being proven right. BFA was pretty good. Now Shadowlands launch was better than BFA that’s for sure so I wouldn’t write it off yet. I’m having lots of fun atm and 9.1 looks very solid. BFA however was better than some people people would like to admit.
That’s a no from me dawg
Yeah that’s not true, as much as I hate SL - grinding essences (which were absolutely critical in terms of DPS) were significantly more of a challenge than anything in SL.
BfA was a very mixed bag for me, full of misses with too few hits.
But it had enough to keep me playing. I can’t even get through Bastion a second time in SL.
Turns out the content drought with souless systems focused on “e-sports” garbage already sucked the fun out of the game.
And we’re reaching this point to claim that BFA is better than the current expansion.
Clearly says alot of the decisions they are making over there.
visions > torghast
The most troubling thing is it feels like the “end” of an expansion… but Shadowlands is only on it’s first patch
Getting the same vibes I had September/October of last year, when BFA was super dead and activity was low.
I didn’t mind azerite or visions. Azerite was fun IMO. It’s what I like. A grind that is easy, yet gives you something to do. And visions were fun once you got full corruption.
nah, the end of BFA was les grindy. cause you had already ground out most of it when systems were new and super grindy, you just forget that by the end of it. Next xpac people are gonna say the same thing, by the end of SL were gonna be using anima to flush our toilets but the next xpacs systems will be new, with no catch ups and we will say “SL wasnt this grindy” but it is… its just as grindy now as the next xpac will likely be.
How I leveled my latest 60 lol. The be hunter who was my first wow real char finally is 60 lol.
I never saw most horde wod /garrison story. She was working that and tof’d SL starting at 55. She did lfd pops running wod content.
Oddly enough…the best leveling 55 to 60 I have had. She’d by my 7th 60. I think. Bit slower since no quest xp but a good dungeon pop cycle had this come in well enough.
Got a 57 lock who will live in legion to close order hall and lfd to 60 since I find this to be much better. I need the legion rep more anyway.
I think random battlegrounds were more fun in BFA. I used to play them all day because the grind was worth the reward. I hated the randomness of the loot distribution but I could still progress if I just put in the effort and I did, nightly. Part of my routine every night for hours was to queue up for battlegrounds and workout in between (until a BG poped). I lost like 40lbs doing that for a year during BFA and I loved it. I played WoW and progressed in the little part of the game I enjoyed and even got healthier doing it. Now, with Shadowlands they changed everything up and have some stupid rating system requirement so that entire schedule of fun I had is lost. Shadowlands (for me) really sucks because of this one stupid change they made to PVP.
