Will there be a bunch of BFA stuff required to play shadowlands?
I’m on a Warlords account want to take the most direct, straight line to Shadowlands when it comes out.
Is being level 120 the only requirement to start right on with Shadowlands or are there a bunch do quest lines and stuff you have to do before you’ve an get out of BFA?
You’ll have to be at level 50 to start in Shadowlands zones. Depending on what level you are, your level will be squished to the appropiate level with the level squish in Shadowlands Pre-Patch.
But as far as I am aware, there isn’t really any other requirement to jump straight into Shadowlands.

There is no warlord’s account. Right now anybody who is paying a subscription but hasn’t bought BfA is on a Legion-capped account. You can do any content that isn’t BfA for the monthly subscription price.
Thanks
For those asking, I’m at 100 on gusy because I never played after Warlords.
Just hoping to avoid as much of BFA as possible. It’s way too late in the expansion to really get any real satisfaction out of the content so I’m just trying to find out if they’ve required some crazy gated access to Shadowlands beyond simply being max level and buying it.
Just 120, which will be 50 or something?
As always, the stuff before is meaningless. Same with how you could just boost and start BFA.
Yeah, you can do whatever you want now. I’ve never actually done WoD (kind of took a hiatus then, with my Hunter going back and doing all of the Garrison when Max Legion Level at Legion time gates.) So I’d probably level a new character through WoD.
If you had to “do” something, it would be the same thing the rest of us had to do in order to start Shadowlands (usually a few quests, talking to Anduin/whomever, taking a boat/portal to somewhere, wishing we could instead just be starting the expansion instead of doing that “filler.” )
It is doubtful there is anything you have to do but no one would know at this point anyway if there was. Check back in prepatch in September or so.
No, similar to other expansions it is a reset where you have more power for playing the previous expansion but it isn’t necessary.
You might wish to take a look at Hazelnutty Video regarding end of game issues.

Thanks!
Lucky for me none of those things she discusses are of interest to me or are not achievable
