BFA scaling major problem

Well they changed Chromie time, You have to have at min one level 60 to unlock Chromie time. So for new players, BFA is it.

/ agree lvl 70 should be able to solo EVERYTHING related to BFA and before.
also new people should have to start the game at the beggining of the story, not start at BFA!

Funny, cuz i made a topic that reached over 600 replies, but had replies purged seemly at random for some reason, yet still wayyyy over 500 replies regardless. And all we got was silence. It’s pretty frustrating and hypocrital from devs to claim they want better communication then do the exact opposite.

Older instances scaling went up...AGAIN?!

For crying out loud, they did it again. They already buffed older instances in pre-patch and they tripled down on it again with today’s update. Each mob takes ages to die, its 120k hp on each mob who used to have 80k hp on King’s rest Mythic 0(to say nothing of the bosses who now rocks more hp than ever before). PLEASE STOP! NOBODY LIKES THIS. What is wrong with older content that you have to keep buffing it? Ion and WoW Devs, you guys speak on interviews about players being happy playing the g…

This is a huge thing for me. I really enjoy BfA content(when it is no longer live with its horrible systems) and want to play around in Zandalar and Kul’Tiras like I do in Legion and WoD content.

I got to 70 and thought, “Hey! I bet I could one shot mobs in Dazar’alor now!” Wrong. The trash mobs weren’t killing me, but they took WAAAY too long to kill. Like minutes. Also noticed they were level 60… Why make the raids scale up too? Are people leveling doing the level 60 raids in BfA?

Why do this? I am all for having people skip Shadowlands, really I am. But there is no reason to scale up all the mobs for all the players. It doesn’t make sense.

Face rolling older content is a major perk for me of new expansions. Thanks blizz for completely screwing it up.

The scaling is definitely wonky but you’ll be able to solo most of them by the end of DF I’m sure.

This is ALWAYS the excuse when it comes to broken scaling. There is no excuse. Broken scaling should be fixed so we mow these things down.

I guess the question is, why? The game was not designed to be a shooting gallery where higher level players can one shot anything at a lower level.

One thing I found annoying back in the old days was when I was trying to level a toon and a couple high level toons would come through and wipe out the mobs in a matter of seconds. Then I’d have to wait around until they regenerated.

Didn’t happen often but when it did it was a real downer.

I haven’t even touched raids yet. I usually spend my downtime between sessions of the new xpac doing old raids for transmogs, but I haven’t done that in a few years due to this scaling crap. I honestly wish they had never done the squish, because this definitely didn’t start with Dragonflight. It just made it worse.

I also know that I have a bunch of 50s parked at the end of BFA that I never took through Shadowlands, and it’s damn-near impossible to level them to 60 because the gear and stats are so wonky. It takes my SPriest about 4 minutes to kill one normal mob in BFA now. It’s just not worth it.

Sadly no. They are unsoloable right now for some reason only the devs know.

I recall being able to solo mythic legion raids/dungeons after the first patch of SL. However, I also recall the legacy aura activated for legion content at the start of SL. DF is obviously not continuing with that ideology, which is very upsetting. Guess we will never be able to solo BFA dungeons until 3 expansions later this time. Sad, because farming old raids/dungeons is a good way to retain players.

Ouch… DF just started and there’s already nothing to do? Good luck for your next 24 months.

To me, you bought DF to play DF not to play BFA. You missed it when it was new. But I understand some people need Expansions to pass to overgear it and later whine when they cant faceroll it. Oh well.

Possibly to push players that aren’t buying the latest expansions into having to. I didn’t know this was a thing, but there is apparently a decent amount of players that hold back and just play old stuff. Now, they won’t really be able to the same way.

You should be able to at the end of DF with top end gear yes… not at launch … Blizz said 4 year to solo old raids
