BfA Scales to Level 60

Now that BfA is scaled up to level 60, shouldn’t the rewards and drops scale up accordingly? It seems I’m still getting the same things I got at level 50.

No since wrath stuff scales up to 60, but you only get lvl 30 or whatever rewards from it. It makes sense since it’s not SL content. SL will give up to 60 rewards.

AH! Here all along I thought it was another attempt by Blizzard to get people to quit BfA and move on by making it more difficult, but no more rewarding.

That IS their super-secret plan to save wow. And they have to get it completed before the Microsoft takeover. You see, there are tens of millions of super hardcore elites out there who will start playing wow after all the casuals, solo players, and collectors are gone.

If I’m doing level 60 quests then the rewards should be the same, no matter where I play.

You will have to do them in Chromie time. Does that work for a 60 yet? Or perhaps it only works until you turn 60 and get booted. I need to test some things.

My level 51 can choose:

  • Cata
  • BC
  • Wrath
  • MoP
  • WoD
  • Legion
  • Shadowlands

in Chromie time. BfA is the default if you do not do Chromie time, and if it’s working properly any level 10-60 should get properly scaled gear. After 60 maybe no. XP will drop off dramatically, and gear will not scale up.

The thing to do it to collect data points to show where the system is not working as we have been told it was going to, which could mean a bug that needs to be reported.

Yes I have tried that. SL quests have higher ilevel rewards

The reward you get is not having the play Shadowlands.

It makes no difference what we say they will release broken content to live without so much as a simple post as a known issue.

They will fix things like mount drops right off and leave the rest of the known broken issues unposted so we waste time trying to fix something that should never have gone live.

The lack of technical skill is appalling and at some point becomes a fraud.

There should be an option that allows players who completed the War Campaign to at least see BfA maxed out at lvl50 only

I just learned that doing the quests to unlock my Zandalar bases in my Dracthyr.
I thought I was going to 1 shot everything. I guess not.

don’t forgot the mobs in bfa also scale according to your ilvl as well INDEFINITELY. HAVE FUN WITH THAT.

Can anyone explain the point of BFA scaling to level 60? I just started the Horde side rep grind and nearly popped a valve once I realized how much harder it’s going to be to finish all those zones. Is BFA a part of the new expansion? If so, why don’t I have the option of going back in time like those zones used by BFA?!?

Its the only zone new new accounts can play in so it has to run out to 60 to then hit expac start.

for reasons dark and mysterious they won’t let players get chromie day 1 if truly new.
