Increase amount per WQ
Eliminate % transfer loss between characters
Make WQ available without having to do the main story arc
While we’re at it: WARFRONTS
Lower thresholds of resources needed for
Increase medals given from completion.
Making it 5-man content would also be cool.
Treat it like Legion Order Hall Resources.
Personally, I’m just not going back to BfA, it’s content I “missed” that I have no interest in doing – nothing Blizz could put in Housing would change my mind.
It’s the peak of the detrimental effects of trying to keep the HvA conflict alive and central.
This is completely valid- and that’s what I hate. I hate that the system makes you feel that way.
The gatekeeping by way of poor labor/reward ratio is keeping people out of the very thing Blizzard claims to want: engagement with old material to utilize the new material.
I think BFA is one of the most visible examples of WoW’s old philosophy regarding alts (each individual character) crashing up against their new one (Warbound)
It’s SO fixable to is what’s really disheartening.
In the mean time you can come visit my house to check out the stuff yourself! 
Non warbound content is significantly easier to farm for, especially with Remix making it possible to level a huge amount of high level characters in practically no time. Current content tends to only give a big reward once per account per day/week; old content lets you get that big reward per character per same timeframe.
Take advantage of it for BFA resources. Mechagon dailies into battle boxes nets a huge amount of resources. One shot some world boss quests that net resources and hop onto multiple alts. Stuff like that.
On top of that, certain BFA profession reagents are still extremely lucrative. It’s much better than TWW for earning gold right now.
None of this addresses my concerns or op. It’s also factually wrong on things.
-No, your explanation of Warbound rewards is mistaken: you can still do resource gathering rewards on multiple toons in TWW then share. The only thing that changed was reputation. I said nothing about reputations. You claim of what Warbound “tends” to do is overstated and misstated.
-Legion Order hall resources are easier to farm on retail AFTER completing campaign/leveling via remix. They offer between 400-1000 resources. This is what I’m asking BFA content to replicate.
Your claim that it’s easier on non-warbound is inaccurate and is trying to utilize the 1 thing it does change to dismiss all of what I said. Furthermore, I did not request your unwarranted suggestions. I am fully aware and already “taking advantage”. It is the very doing of that which makes me speak on these concerns.
Please refrain from “um actuallying”, and work towards more meaningful solutions.
The resources are tough in BFA. I’ve done enough of the xpac here and there on my alts to have a few to several hundred to keep the mission table running towards the Raise an Army acheive. The rep rewards on the mission table are worth doing at least, as they are a sizable chunk of rep.
So far I’ve been able to buy what I want from bfa, but not in multiples. Really trying to get Storm’s Wake and Proudmoore Admiralty to revered to unlock that level decor.
I haven’t been to Mechagon really since Shadowlands on my mage or when I did the race unlock lol. That’s a whole other can of worms that I will get to eventually.
As I’ve said in other threads, all this is doable now but will be very backburnered in Midnight. So will get done what I can. A resource increase would be helpful.
There are a boatload of better ways to get Resources than WQs.
Also: did not know there was a penalty for transferring them. That’s dumb and needs to go.
Something simple they could do, op, is add more bfa resources to small treasure chests and the many minor elites throughout the zones. Legion did this and would be nice addition to bfa content.
As it is now you mostly get the Tiny Azerite Splinters for chests and small elites and I don’t think those are useful anymore (?)
Always play the expansions when they’re current and you’ll have a much better time moving forward.
As a person with a bank full of thousands of (previously useless) BfA mats, I disagree with this, but I admit it comes from a biased perspective.
Changing the Azerite rewards to resources would be a quick and easy fix. They really are useless because you cannot upgrade the weapons anymore.
On a side note I feel that anything that is BoP should be warbound. Players have already did the work to get the items so let us use them on the characters that need them.
Both a biased and a privileged one, indeed. This clearly doesn’t apply to you (and that’s OK). But whats not OK is your desire to imply things dont need to change b/c you were there at the time. Weird.
Regardless, doing world quests on one character is one of the worst ways to get BFA resources. You can take my advice on how to obtain a lot of resources in a short amount of time, or keep asking Blizzard to increase resource rewards for activities that were not designed to net many resources.

That’s the big one. All the other stuff I could tolerate, as long as you could alt-bomb the 8.0 and 8.3 worldbosses.
Worldbosses giving 250 a pop is definitely the superior way to farm war resources. It’s always gold, AP, or resources, just bad luck that this week they’re both AP.
The ultimate fix would be having all deco items bought with one currency, and being able to exchange any of the expansion bespoke currencies for that one deco currency, at player friendly or at least fair rates.
It’s 24%, which is just ridiculous. I was looking at it last night in-game and almost choked.
Blizzard should make BfA reputations warbound. Levelling professions in BfA is limited by reputations as we need the 3 star recipes to skill up efficiently. But most of the 3 star recipes are sold by quartermasters requiring a min rep. I don’t want to farm rep for each profession toon.
I’d add that that many of the 2-star recipes are drops, so the drop rate on those needs to be drastically increased. I have several characters with the necessary rep who can’t learn the 3-star recipes because they haven’t learned thd 2-star version.
Mostly I’ve just resigned myself to not crafting very many of the BfA decor items.
If you have marks of honor, go to the pvp vendor in Boralus and buy the rank 2 and 3 recipe upgrades. Some might be pvp recipes but who cares; it’s just leveing fodder anyway.
An absolute time-saver on my blacksmith. I bought a ton of recipes over there.
@supersonic I ran into this problem on my jewelcrafter. I found one rep I needed was the Embers, and played the heck out of Drustvar until revered, then went hard on that rank 3 recipe. Looks like my enchanter will need the turtle rep. Same thing. Hello turtles for two weeks while I level that prof.
The mission table is helping a lot with these reps for me. But it’s going regularly every other day to the table and gradually chipping away at it, and doing the emissaries.
Good tip. I may have a few but I haven’t done much pvp in years. Still, might help someone else.
I was surprised and delighted to find that I’d not only capped out engineering but also gotten exalted with Mechagon on that character. Miniature artificial suns in all the windows!
