BFA Rare mobs only drop artifact power, not any loot/greens or blue unique armor or weapons

HELLO!
newbie hunter here, and I am level 60 and I have unlocked world quests in BFA. Now I am trying to get my gear up for the DF, and I can not seem to get any gears drop from BFA rares, they are only dropping Artifact Powers so I am lost in this department.

Other toons have been able to kill a rare mob and get loot. But only on this hunter, that has World Quest unlocked, and frankly the furthest in the BFA storyline is being left out. Any ideas why??

Yeah that’s just kind of how they’re structured. It is RNG. Some days its trash, some days you can snag a weapon or something.
Why are you doing BFA world quests though to gear up for Dragonflight? You shouldn’t have to do that.

The greens from the intro quests will be better than anything you’re getting from BfA world quests.

why are u wasting your time? just head to new area, you are rewarded new higher level green gear from initial bread crumb quests.

I’m guessing level 60 twink?

If not, move on to DF.
