The raid designs are so anti soloing and clearly a developer during that expansion was against soloing even after the expansion is over.
While, the dungeons are soloable which is a plus on my scale. But wished they would remove the stupid heroic lockout just like in shadowlands and now in dragonflight.
Raids are never designed with how well someone can solo them in mind when they are first made. You’re only able to solo them later on because of gear scaling exponentially, as well as the occasional mechanics pass they do a couple expansions later.

There is literally no point in the development of a raid where the developers should ask, “but can players solo this 6 years from now?”

These were done to virtually every single mandatory encounter in past raids after an expac or two. The problem is none of the BFA content has been remotely touched by this which is highkey bs as no amount of gear scaling will be enough for certain mechanics in these raids/dungeons.

Without it any major source of borrowed power, our character rate of growth is much slower than during BFA and legion, causing content to take longer to overgear.
A max level character at the end of legion gearing was like 10x-15x stronger than a fresh max level character. We are 2 seasons deep in DF and we are only about 4x stronger than a fresh 70 was in 10.0
Yes, that’s true. But old raid content also used to get the debuff put onto all the bosses that significantly lowered their stats. This debuff has as of yet not been applied to anything post-Legion I wanna say, I don’t even remember if Legion bosses have it
They used to do that instead of applying targeted nerfs to bosses while the raid was current. They haven’t done that since WoD I don’t think.
