šŸ BfA Positivity Thread

There is certainly a lot of complaining around here. In the spirit of the holidays, let’s say a few things we’re enjoying about WoW.

Personally, I’ve really enjoyed the beautiful art and sound for Kul’Tiras. I’m also enjoying the building hype in prep for Shadowlands. I am super into Old God lore and am excited that three of my favorite lore characters are being featured in this expansion.

No negativity please, there are other threads for that! What are some of the things you’ve enjoyed about BfA?

The art and sound for every single iteration of WoW has always been great, 10/10 for over a decade at this point.

The actual game design team needs to step it up to be worthy of having such a great art and music team, they make me feel bad for them.

Also butterbeer is delicious!

Loving the whole Zandalari story and culture especially the blood trolls. Drustvar maybe one of the best zones ever with so many layers of struggle and sadness.

Beautiful Art, excellent music. The quest stories for the Alliance were awesome.
I got promoted to Inquisitor General of the Ordos Hereticus.
I got to rescue my Waifu.
But she turned down my marriage proposal, and instead we went on a cruise. Got interrupted by fish people, though.

Art and music teams outdid themselves once again. I love the music in Boralus, particularly in the inn. I log off in the inn on all my characters just because I love that music so much.

The Daughter of the Sea song was also something that was really great. I’m a huge fan of Jaina and of Laura Bailey (her voice actress) and didn’t actually know that she could sing so well.

I’m so glad you mentioned Drustvar! I’m really disappointed I didn’t do it first as by the time I got to it, I was already done with everything and sort of knew how it ended. But, it was so atmospheric and creepy. Gave me Gilnean vibes!

Can’t go wrong with that tea party.

I would feel positive for BfA, as would many others, if all we did were WQs and LFR.

Unfortunately, there’s more to the game than that and that’s where these terrible issues lie.

The sound and the visuals are top notch, I really liked the theme of most of the zones

There’s some neat subplots buried deep in the quests

Dolly and Dot are still my best friends

The Darkest Dungeon quest chain made me smile

I liked how this expansion made me play less and spend more time trying other games and doing other things.

I have only been playing BFA for 10 days but I find it a fine expansion. I played AV since it won’t be around for long mostly the past 10 days, but I plan on doing the PVE side of things soon.

I like the heart of azeroth necklace and how it can be buffed by azeroth peices and a cheat piece also (I assume though that the chest piece is old)

I ran one instance and enjoyed it (via dungeon finder)

BFA only has one more patch to go.

Going to miss Forging gear. Contrary to popular belief, I think WF/TF is a net positive.

Also going to miss Waycrest Manor and Freehold - I enjoy both of these dungeons a lot.
