Yes. Part of why I have said that sharding is needed only at launch, because the launch numbers (returning players + BfA additions) are going to be absolutely insane.

I am actually seriously hopingânot that Classic will convince Blizzard to change what theyâre doing with Battle for Azeroth, never thatâbut that some other morepigs will be inspired to revisit some aspects of Classic WoWâs design, or their own early design, or just stop following WoW.
I wonât disagree with that either.
I think WoWâs overwhelming success has been a detriment to MMORPG development overall. Companies are afraid to rock the boat and try something new and different, and that has hampered innovation in the genre.

i could be wrong, or it could be even less. we dont know how the market will react to classic in 2019. i dont think it will be wildly popular, but that wont stop people from playing it

I think that long-term success for Classic will be numbers in the 500k to 1M range-- IF Blizzard does nothing else but leave vanilla static servers and never goes on to BC Classic or something like that.
I do think heâs wrong that the numbers will drop off sharply very fast. I think things will stay well populated until many people are able to get through Naxx, or are else be able to do what they want to do.

Guys you are thinking only in america market, there are a lot of people that will play in china and EU.
So classic can easily keep 2M+ players in total.

In my experience those Iâve spoken with who do struggle with English didnât sound this forced. Like a couple posters Iâve noticed here.
Also the more they read and wrote English the better they got.
