Its really quite a fair compromise for keeping the start of the game on the ground while having players demonstrate that they have done so before they unlock the extreme convenience flying offers.

So, explorer, questlines, and Revered rep which you'll probably get 80+% just doing the quests anyway.

Yea, that sounds really daunting.

Still no PvP alternative, which is too bad.

I agree, but it shouldn't exist in the first place. But I digress.

Part 1 looks similar to Legion's, so...I'd expect part 2 to also be similar. As to how long it'll be for part 2? Impossible to say currently.

Are you trolling? No one likes Pathfinder. I have it, and I still don't like it.

Part 1 should reward flight in the base release content, Part 2 etc should be to add flying in each additional zone that gets added in the content patches.

No one here said anything about being surprised or the requirements being too much. Withpuppies posted what they were. Ariannas and I were both commenting on how the hope was for no part two so it could be streamlined. They're the same requirements as they were before. So why are you lecturing?

So you can take your pretentious comments and move on. Back on ignore you go. Which is sad for an MVP to end up there.

I’ve learned to live with pathfinder because it’s not going away no matter how bad we want it to. I often wonder how bad it will suck a few more expansions from now if you didn’t keep up or you are a new or returning player. You pretty much have no catch-up mechanic and won’t be able to fly in any expansion from WOD forward unless you farm pathfinder for each and every expansion.

I just hope part 2, which should be the final part, comes out in 8.1 instead of 8.2.

Don't make us wait a year for flying again.

I'm expecting it in 8.3, which also introduces a new zone without flying.

Who said there wouldn't be a Pathfinder? We've known there would be since the first Q&A after Blizzcon. Not sure why you chose to be snotty with the "told ya so" when you didn't tell us and Blizz did back in like December.

Seems easier than it was in Legion. No exalted reqs like with Suramar.

I’ve learned to live with pathfinder because it’s not going away no matter how bad we want it to. I often wonder how bad it will suck a few more expansions from now if you didn’t keep up or you are a new or returning player. You pretty much have no catch-up mechanic and won’t be able to fly in any expansion from WOD forward unless you farm pathfinder for each and every expansion.


Catch up mechanic? You'll get 2/3rds of this from casually leveling.

I'm sorry ... what I meant by "I told ya" is that BfA Pathfinder would be a pile on of another dreary laundry list of chores even worse than Legion.
