BFA Pathfinder Part 2 - A Primer

It took me right around 8 days to finish BFA Pathfinder part 2, but had I known some of the neat little tips and tricks I would have had it done in around 6 days. Here are a few things I picked up along the way to help you out on your grind!

Mechagon

Outside of the dailies, there are a few things that you can do to help speed you along.

  1. Fish the “secret fish of mechagon” each day. Once per day you can turn these fish in for a rep bonus. Just make sure you turn in after you snag each fish as they have a 5 minute expiration on them.

  2. Grind out the parts in Junkwatt’s depot for your daily turn-in. Only takes a few minutes with a couple other people inside and it’s worth 150 rep per day.

  3. Pet battles! You don’t have to wait for them to pop up as a daily to do the pet battles and get rep for them. After the first defeat of each legendary pet battle you get a quest to turn in. That’s a total of 600 rep in Mechagon. Following is a list of pet battles and waypoints:

Nazjatar

In addition to the daily quests in Nazjatar, there are several tips/tricks you can do in order to speed up your rep grind.

  1. Kill the trees daily. They have a chance to drop Ancient Coral Bark which is good for 350 rep!

  2. Remember to do your weekly stone at Mardivas’ Laboratory! That’s 500 rep per week but you can only do 1 turn in per week.

  3. Pet Battles! Just like in mechagon, you do NOT have to wait for the legendary pet battles to complete the battles. The first time you defeat each legendary pet battle (1 time ever) you get a quest to turn in in Mezzamere. In total there is 3000 reputation in Nazjatar from pet battles alone. There are 10 pet battles and the list can be found by viewing the “Nautical Nuisances of Nazjatar” achievement. You can get coordinates from WoWhead for each pet. Following is a list of all pet battles and coordinates:

  4. Each follower will grant you a quest worth 400 rep once they reach level 5. It is worth it IMO to get each one to 5 for this rep bump then continue leveling the follower you prefer.

  5. Farm Eels, Crabs, and rays. Each of those has a chance to drop a rep item. Each one can be used 1x daily.
