I’m wanting to farm some of the pets/toys/mounts from the end of BfA with some alts and… it seems you can’t just “unlock” these invasions??
On an alt now and it’s like a 10 part quest to unlock these things. Is this for real??
I did this on my main, there’s no way to skip this nonsense?
There really should be. I don’t know why they shouldn’t, there are skips for Shadowlands.
I’ve sent this request through in game suggestions.

Give us skips for BFA please if we did the story line once, no need to do it 49 more times.
I just finished the Uldum one and, despite it telling me there was 10 parts, all I had to do was go through the Halls of Origination, go back to Rhamkaham (sp), sit through 2 mins of rp and… seems it’s unlocked.
That’s a bit annoying, but tolerable. Hopefully the Panda one is no worse.
But my Hunter is i240 and every mob in the HoO took 4-6 hits to kill. I don’t know if it scales or what, but you don’t just 1-shot your way through the place. Not fun. >(
Something something you play your characters not your account yadiyada shared progress/account wide unlocks are bad something something this is an mmorpg therefor you should be finding pleasure in re doing campaigns on every character you’ve already done because they are content and if you don’t like it then maybe mmorpgs aren’t for you also it just takes a few hours to do so just so it

I personally love riding down the waterfall and escorting jaina on every single character to unlock naztajar. Mechagnome island unlock is fun too. Unlocking the sail options to the other continent too
I could have sworn there were skips built into unlocking the visions.
The best part about this is that even with its terrible inconsistency, we still get a lot of account wide skips and despite the existence of those skips and minor conveniences the game is still an MMORPG and no one should have any sort of convenience 
Yeah actually now that i’m thinking about it those conveniences we currently have are ruining my immersion. I think we should delete the collections tab asap. We also need to go back to requiring exalted reputation on each character to mount that faction’s racial mount. Game breaking tbh
Yeah we should go back to having 16 slot bags too and they should slow down the game’s leveling to where it takes a year to hit max level in the true spirit of MMORPGs, because this game IS an MMORPG amirite

I’d like to do this for 4-5 other alts but… doing the whole process is more than a drag.
From my memory, there are only skips to parts of the quest line, not skips for the entire thing. Such as the parts where you go into the 2 dungeons in an instanced version. Once you’ve completed them once, your alt will have the option to skip those instances when talking to the NPC’s. There are only 2 of those skips that I recall.
The rest is required, unless they’ve added skips since then. I did it many times on my alts in 8.3 to farm visions for the Mail Muncher mount and such lol.
There is not. I just had a horrid flashback to the dozen or so times I went through it on several alts back in the day.
Also how wild is it that it’s already well over two years since 8.3 came out? It still feels so recent to me. Time has been horribly compressed.
