BFA N'zoth Cinematic now Unlisted

Same. I just assumed there was more for beating it on mythic or something. Really anticlimactic. This whole expansion really feels like an after thought.

As of now.

Legion’s ending was so damn good. The characterization of Velen and Illidan as they part ways. Velen’s final sigh of relief, the epic moment Sargeras is imprisoned, his sword, the Vindicaar dodging Sargeras. The final cut with the sword.

There’s just no comparison.

Even WoD’s, with the Stupidity of “dRaEnOR iS fReE!” was better due Yrel’s voiceover and Khadgar’s contemplation.

Mountain dew and obsidian would get boring after a while. As would coral and naga. As would nothing but tentacles.

Yrel is awful and Memegar isn’t much better.

Sounds like far more conspiracy than anything else. I don’t know why them unlisting it suddenly means they are embarrassed by it, feels like projection. :woman_shrugging:

Until we see it come back or a statement come out, we’ll not know for sure. I didn’t really see an issue with it.

Imagine this… You ready big brain time…

4 years later, they bring him back. Surprise we didn’t kill him after all, it was all just a big “illusion”. Its not like we just spent the last how many god damn years building him up.

and that sucks too. I am in the same place. As much as PVE is more and more impacting PVP arena with raid/M+ gear compared to our arena earned gear the first two patches, this latest layer is just too much. I was perfectly content doing all the neck stuff, just like garrisons and the rest of the past, but we could still do the neck if we played enough arena and just did the emissary quests. Now, we can still do all that with arena gear, but now others will have gear that requires a ton of work to maintain for PVE will be in the PVP competitive matches, and they will have procs we simply do not have.

At least yet, I am just going off a few days here and perhaps there is a plan. But as of now I am on the sidelines waiting to see how much of a competitive disadvantage players geared only in area gear will be to PVE gear in the ARENA. Remember, we are hypersensitive to stuff like this too as are raiders, we change race just for racials (nice message there, eek, sounds weird to say that lol) as you buff or nerf them as well.

I thought of twinking, that would remove this added layer of grind, but it would also remove things like rival and challenger, duelist, and the one I have not ever managed, gladiator. So, that is only at max level (I think, not sure if there is still arena for other brackets since I have been playing max only arena the past nine years), and this version of max level is way to PVE for my PVP taste.

I never got sucked into the Guild Wars, or LOL, or Scrolls, or Whitcher games with those who may of when they were upset with wow because I have never been upset with wow. Now, it does not matter if I am upset, I am simply not playing, and neither are my three family members to do PVE and are just overwhelmed at this point.

Yea, if we don’t like it leave, and we are, but I will remain here in hopes we get our game back.

(Metzen/Ghostcrawler, when does your no-compete run out, I want to compete again)

Ion really needs to step down imo

Because that’s what companies do and is well known behavior to protect a product’s image. Maybe not “embarrassment” per se, but definitely intention to hide a bad product.

Guess it just confirms that every cinematic in this xpac has essentially been pointless. The story still somehow has hardly progressed anywhere at all. With no 8.3.5, Shadowlands will basically just ‘occur’ instead of being properly lead into. It’s like they have no story telling capability anymore.

I’m pretty sure this is the shortest expansion end cinematic since they started doing them with WotLK. Even Deathwing got a minute more than N’Zoth.

Cut Blizzard some slack. They’re a small indie company.

It sounds like to me they are putting all their resources into Shadowlands. Maybe that is why the ending was bad.

The complete lack of effort put into the ending is made so much worse by the numerous other high-quality cinematics they’ve put out in BfA. We’ve gotten 20 minutes of Sadfang and his brooding adventures, and N’zoth gets a 30 second in-engine cutscene?

It’s the first month a new year, it happens ok?

In any event. Heelvsbabyface has a troglodytic attitude that makes it difficult to determine if he’s genuine, or if he’s riding the wave of perpetually angry man-babies desperate to call the expac bad.

It’s almost like a family run business that’s been handed down through the years & each successive generation has less interest in running it. But they still want the income, so they make changes & start taking shortcuts.

Meanwhile, the customers still want that original scrumptious cheesecake.

I don’t know. I still enjoy raiding with guildies/friends & a few other aspects of the game, but some of the experimentation has certainly flopped.

January 22, 2020. Blizzard confirmed it feels shame and embarrassment. A round of applause, please.
