BFA makes me want to unsub....

Just gotta say, I read through the whole post and agree with it in entirety.

I pretty much agree with everything you have said. However, we have been through this before time and time again with feedback being ignored, promises being broken and focusing on keeping us playing for longer rather than enjoying the game.

At this point, I just don't see any point in going through this again of asking Blizz to listen to their fanbase. The only way to talk as a customer now is with your wallet. They already have you subed, qnd so long as you are subbed that's ok by their standards.

I feel the same way and felt the need to say something anyways. Like I said I really just want to see the game succeed.
Great idea for M+ OP.

Great idea for M+ OP.

With the MDI being so popular, I'm surprised Blizz didn't implement this for BFA
Aside from m+, which I never do, the rest is 100% accurate. Just did a warfront for the first time. Wow what a snooze fest. My fiance and I finished and just stared at each other in disbelief for a few seconds....WTH Blizz? Since launch of BFA I have been patiently waiting for my fiance to level up and hit the appropriate ilevel, then que in only to find the most boring thing I have ever encountered in WOW. This is not hyperbole....it was flat out boring and meaningless. We both logged off....yes, got the 370 and then logged. I cannot remember the last time I got gear that was so....cant think of a good term. Let down maybe? Anticlimactic? Weeks of waiting and done. It sums up BFA nicely.
It looks liked you just puked out complaints you read on the forums.

Any time people elaborate on why they think BfA is bad, all their explanations are weak af. No one said you have to like the game, there's a lot of games I don't play because I don't enjoy them. There are people that enjoy WoW, you don't have to be one of them.

To say that I haven't read anything from other peoples threads is not a false statement. Regardless these are my personal feelings on the game that I grew up with.

If you feel they're weak I'd be more than happy to hear your counterpoints to the ones I've made. One of the things from this post is to start up a conversation. As someone who has played the game for quite some time and has seen the positive aspects go negative is the reason I made this thread.

And like I already stated I put several years into the guild that I've made and have several friends that I've made through it. I don't want to quit, but it feels like BFA wants me to. I just want to have quality experiences with the people that have decided to share their time with me. I see no wrong with that.

No one who is "enjoying" the game is ever going to take the time to debate your points and give their viewpoint because they don't have one. They're brainless monkies that worship the very toilet that Ion takes his morning dumps in.
I'm only playing sub 110 content right now (xmog and stuff like that) because I have to say I've never been so bored in end-game in my entire life. I literally switched out of the game to play Hearts on my PC the other day because it was more exciting. Yes, it's that bad. Anytime I have to do something out in the world my basic thought is 'I hate this. Why am I still here? Can it really be this annoying when I used to like this game? I hate this.'

Short bullet list of my problems with BFA:

1) why the heck would I farm azerite when the neck will just want me to farm more azerite to unlock the exact same rows of traits? i'm not a squirrel in a wheel.

2) Personal loot is the nail in the coffin of group interaction. I fondly remember Dragon Soul LFR now. Editing out human interaction from the game because 'some' people grief is a mistake

3) Flying should never have been removed. I flat out ignore zones that don't have flying and will continue to do so. I have stopped playing end-game content mostly because of this -- I can't be bothered to scale that mountain just to do a WQ, and that won't change.

4) More about flying and...everything really. I feel like Blizz thinks we're really really stupid. Because we know that flying is really removed permanently from end-game (will be irrelevant when the new island comes out), we know what the goal of increasing Azerite levels is on the neck, we are not idiots. So pretending that we are, and treating us like utter morons who can't understand what is fun and what is not fun, and will just keep going and doing the same thing over and over (island expeditions I'm looking at you) is quite disheartening.

I still remember other expansions when I could honestly say 'wow, this is a game that's doing something new and interesting!'. There was still grinds, but they felt like a necessary evil in the name of progress. Effort felt rewarding.

Now I just know that I have no control over my fate. RNG controls all. If I'm lucky this WQ will drop better rewards than if I'm not, and it does not depend on my level of effort whatsoever.

Finally,

5) Let people complete things. Yes, it means we will whine about how 'there is nothing to do' but that can be a good thing because it gives you a sense of accomplishment to finish things and reflect on the journey.

I've long since lost hope these comments will make any difference, but it's sad. The shift in culture in Blizzard development is very noticeable to me. From treating this game as an amazing, worthwhile endeavour the people working on this game have gone to silly marketing ploys to keep earning revenue at the cost of player experience. Sad.

I think I still play because I miss the feeling I used to get from wow 5 years ago. But I don't have anything but "oh damn not this again" feeling about every single thing in game now. The only thing playing Hearts on my computer doesn't do better than BFA Wow is have a progress bar to fill.

fell in love with the lore

You should try reading some fantasy that's not garbage. WOW can get away with it because the game's good enough, but the "lore" is SO BAD. Really, they just make it ups as they go.

Oh don't worry. I'm not too happy with certain elements of BFAs story. Like making Alliance look stupid so the Horde can get away. Like....how did we not consider Sylvanas using the blight bomb?

I'm challenging views that oppose mine. I sat down and put together a thread that I feel needed to be said on top of all the other things that are being put out there for BFA. If they're fine with BFA then fine. More power to them. But it's clear that the game is going in the gutter with overall participation.

I agree with most of the things you put in this. I'm personally not the biggest fan of flying but that's because of World PvP reasons.
If there's any other suggestions that someone wants to put in, go for it.
Added Titanforging in the mix.
I don't interact with every single system that you do in the game. However, I can add my ideas to a few.

M+
Blizzard I was playing an Enhancement Shaman. Because nobody wants that on their meta team, I found myself unable to climb and would fall behind my peers after the first week. Performing just fine, but without a constant group who shrugs it off I just play with randoms in Premade Groups. And that means that every single week when casual players weren't getting smarter, I'd just find the group quality lower and lower. Class balance is a separate issue - but I know a lot of people in this situation.
Can we somehow make it feel better to clear the same + level each week? The only reward in M+ is to play a viable meta class, find a group of competitive players playing meta classes, and then group with them every week just like raiding. And I'm not saying that's wrong, obviously that's very efficient and great social interaction. But MOST people aren't doing that - Premade Groups are popping off for M+ and it feels bad to not progress because groups are too temporary.

CLASS BALANCE - yep, agreed. Gonna add Protection warrior to that.
It's very disappointing to me that BM Hunter is so competitive and tempting to play, and yet it's had it's least exciting design in the history of BM Hunter. Wow.

ISLAND EXPEDITIONS -
I enjoy them, and I'd like to do more than 5 each week. I think among people who are okay with the content, many would like to see rewards changed.
I'm gonna argue that they should not be seen as a necessary source for Azerite. They should be seen as the place where alternative playstyles come out: Rare farming, and profession goals. Currently you have a place that lots of players are interested in doing for a very short time and only Azerite-Addicted top tier raiders actually do them much more. Give us long-term reasons to be interested in Expos. Make them interesting! And no, the AP level is not a long-term interest of mine.
AZERITE LEVEL -
I'm sick of it, and even my main is like... level 21? I just don't even care. The system has good bones, but it has stupid RNG aspects and it's being used as an excuse to gate gear away from players. Oh, and to interact with the system you have to do your daily chores that seem pointless without that one trait that you MIGHT get that MIGHT buff your DPS by a little bit. Plus in combat, the trait is also a random proc. LUL. Chance of a chance of a chance of a chance... and yet I do Island Expos 5 times a week to chase that chance. Please fix.

Thanks for your feedback! Most I agree with except for the Island Expedition. I was hoping it would be more exciting personally.
