Around how long does it take to complete the BFA main storyline? I don’t have BFA and since I can only do Chromie time after completing BFA, I will have to do BFA when the pre-patch comes out (assuming BFA is made free). I’m torn between going through it on my DH or just starting a new character and going through BFA then.
It’s not super long but it makes you wish for flying like all the time.

I used my free boost on an alliance toon to get through the questline and get the dual faction achievement, etc. I have spent some time just gearing him up after hitting max level with him, but he has just under 2 days played. Took me about 12 hours to get max level.
I haven’t done quite literally everything with him though. I didn’t finish Nazjatar or even touch 8.3 content. I basically just did all three leveling zones, the intro to Nazjatar, the war campaign, and unlocked allied races so as far as questlines go I’d say I’ve done about 80% of it.
However I also had access to flying and if you don’t have that you’ll take longer.

Heya! Legion sub gang here too. Planning to play through BfA, stick with it and buy Shadowlands sometime next year.
I have however played full BfA while at my friends house.
BfA will vary heavily by what gear you have and how you play. If you happen to have an account where your parent did have BfA flying and you have hierlooms (although experience boost remove enchanted weapon damage is strong with elemental force) you can do the whole storyline in 1-2 days.
There’s a time gate on Nazjatar for memory of lucid dreams which is an ability for a legendary item (heart of Azeroth) but you can progress into 8.3 content while you go through that.
Gonna jump in as fast as I can and get the raid boss quests done before SL because I know it’s gonna be hell to do otherwise.

If a new player can level from 10 to 50 in BFA zone, I can’t help wondering if your 110 DH can finish quests in one zone before hitting the new 60 level cap. If you want to have a level 60 faster to access all content, DH would definitely be the way to go.
