Last week I cleared all the BfA raids on mythic with relative ease, basically farming them for xmog. This week I appear to be doing 4 or 5 times less damage and taking significantly more - enough that I actually wiped on a couple bosses.
Anyone else experiencing this?
What exactly is the point of this re-tuning of legacy raids? If anything they should be laying the groundwork for making SL raids soloable.
unless your class got nerfed i doubt you are doing less damage
all the bosses got a health buff and more dmg
grong used to have like 8 million now he has 16
jaina had 13 million now she has 22
orgoza or whatever had like 15 mil now he has TWENTY EIGHT MILLION hp
They’re all tuned for level 80 now. Once you hit 80 they’ll be easier again.
Well thats unfortunate - just when xmog gets buffs to all classes.

It’s honestly awful to feel so weak in content that is so old.
You should be able to walk into the raid, give them the stink eye, and they just fall over dead. 
cant wait for more people to try doing old raids and crap to really hit the fan.
what are your current intentions for your gold?
Why would they do that though? If we could solo them at 70 during DF, why force us to level to 80 just to be able to solo them again? Seems silly.
Honestly, it’s fine, it will be soloable again soon enough. But with the changes to the xmog rules they should have anticipated lots of people going back to run these legacy raids. They could have held off on the changes until TWW actually got released.

they did it out of malicious hate and spite there is zero excuse for it this time. THEY DID IT ON PURPOSE. there was NO REASON to raise the hp values.
I forgive them. I mean, I was still able to solo everything up to Orgoza so at 80 this will be trivial.

why would there need to be tuning for lvl 80? its blizzards scaling thats messed up.
its not scaling it was deliberate. this was noted in the beta forums and thought to be a bug. NOPE ITS SO YOUR BASICALLY FORCED TO BUY THE EXPANSION TO DO THE SAME STUFF YOU DID BEFORE. basically holding transmog running hostage unless you give them 60$ such a scummy move.

Not really. The ilvl curve was adjusted in the BfA/SL level range and since mobs are also scaled based on ilvl they were indirectly affected as a result. It still sucks, but Blizz didn’t intentionally go in and buff these instances. This is just a consequence of linking so many different knobs together such that when you turn one, you turn all of them.
