I don’t understand why people dislike this expansion. It’s a rather chill expansion, no bombastic titans 20 times the size of you in space with weapons of mass destruction. No green, no fel, no Legion. No artifact weapons (thank god)

it’s boring. They just put a new coat of paint over legion and called it a day while making the lore boring as hell.

I actually like the BFA content. What I don’t like, is the Rep Grind for flight, and class balance/design.

They essentially turned this game into 3D Diablo.

Once flying was finally unlocked the expansion is ok. Not great but ok.

More like they let the paint that was Legion rot away and we’re stuck with a worse version.

I really like BFA as well; the hate just comes from people playing at being top-tier endgame mythic raiders. Though I have to disagree in that I did like Artifact Weapons.

I’d take Artifact Weapons over this horrible necklace any day of the week. BfA is just a bad to mediocre expansion, IMO. I had far more fun in every other expansion bar WoD and MAYBE Cata.

I agree that this does seem very Legion-esque, more like Legion Lite, as far as mechanics and features go. A lot of the new features they added seem like flops to me. Not a fan of warfronts or island expeditions.

That being said, I always love the scenery and the new content is always beautiful. I also always love the quests. At least for the first two toons, afterwards it’s just back to farming old content for mounts and transmog.

And speaking of transmog, while heritage armor is cool, a lot of the other sets and weapons have been the weakest designs I’ve ever seen in a new expansion. I miss class armor sets. I think the homogenization of armor sets was a bad call. Cosmetics and collectibles are one of the main things that keeps me playing the game and they dropped the ball on some of these things.

It seems like they took everything from Legion and applied it to BfA, only with every shortcut possible.

the new zones are already boring. I’ve barely logged in at all this week… I just cant bring myself to care about the grind, again. I’ve got about 5 days left on sub… not sure if I will renew.

I agree with you. I think Mechagon is a blast (pun intended :wink: And once I learned the Naz Map, I can clear the whole zone of every available quest in 1.5 hours. I think Naz is a beautiful zone, if a bit clunky to learn at first with all it’s up/down winding pathways. And Mechagon is just plain fun. Gizmos, gadgets, anti-gravity packs, construction projects, and Blizz seems to gave fixed the elite spawn time issue.

People have different tastes. Is that the part you’re struggling with? There’s also a bunch of complaint threads that outline why people don’t like it.
