BFA is actually quite enjoyable

If you ignore the entire “Azerite/Magni/Essences/Nzoth” side of it.

I’ve been doing purely the War Campaigns on both side while ignoring entirely Magni’s quests as i i’ve done them before and couldn’t care less to farm Essences and whatnot yet again and i feel a more grounded expansion that really delves into each faction’s storytelling could had been very, very good.

Sure some changes would had needed to be made for sure, such as a different catalyst for the 4th War and another form of end game progression but i’m surethey could had come up with something.

Azshara/Nzoth could had been easily the antagonists of another expansion as well.

I agree with you. I myself liked a few aspects, too: the Mechagon continent, the Battle of Nazjatar when one side didn’t overwhelm the other, and Drustvar. I think warfronts and island expeditions had so much potential as well.

Which is essentially ALL of what BFA is.

The only thing I legit liked is Mechagon.

Arguably its half of it.

I didn’t like the storytelling, too fragmented

Am I the only person who absolutely HATED Mechagon?

Playing in a giant garbage dump? Really?

I like it. But I’m sick of it.

Mechagon > Nazjatar

Nazjatar was just argus 2.0, but worse IMO. At least with Mechagon they gave interesting tools to help you get through it faster.

But…but…they’ll give you a new arm!

Who wouldn’t want that, plus it’s an upgraded bionic arm, so it has super strength. It’s so much win!

/moo :cow:

I really like Nazjatar

I started in and really enjoy Nazjatar.

Overall BfA as a whole has also been nice in my opinion.

I was not at all a fan of Nazjatar or Mechagon. That hideous terrain is just the worst.

Argus was amazing. Nazjatar was horrible.

The expansion content is always going to be seen as fairly enjoyable when you play it “post-release” and all the systems and updates have been fixed. Whether an expansion was fun to play through from start to finish or an expansion’s content is fun to play through after the fact are two entirely different questions.

I don’t think people had a lot of beef with it per se, but I do remember a lot of people were raging over the fact that we just got flight and then Blizzard was like “lol here’s no-flight combat”

I remember them trying to justify their decision because the last chunk of content in an expansion has traditionally been a no-fly zone while ignoring that they changed the way the game worked with acquiring flying. It was a total miss on their part.

the questing was great bvut i liked all of it.

They should have been solo content. That way it would feel like anything you did mattered.

Instead both contents amount to waiting for the rest of the group to fill up a bar while simultaneously feeling nothing you do gets that bar any fuller.

Still doesn’t compare to class halls and fighting the Legion.

The systems were quite terrible in 8.3. But I can’t complain on the millions of gold I made on rotbreath and kuddly

you forgot to add lore to that
