MoP was absolutely the best expansion Blizzard has ever released and if you disagree you’re doing the “BuT PaNdArEn” or you flat out didn’t play.
Edit:
- Best Class design of all time across all specs
- Still had old talent tree
- Some of the best raids to this date of all time
- Challenge modes with all specs/classes viable with unique sets given as rewards for your hard work
- Professions were all lit
- VENGEANCE BABY
- Some of the most comfy zones of all time.

I wouldn’t say the best. Wrath is still my favorite. But it was a pretty damn good expansion.

It had the fisher price talent tree system. Cata had talent trees with kid locks.

You mean a repeat of MoP and Wrath’s story line haphazardly mishmashed into one? It’s getting REALLY old seeing a character go “omnicidal maniac” whenever we need a new villain to end the “faction war” story for another two expansions before it gets dragged up like a rotting corpse for more abuse.

MoP wasn’t bad. I would have liked it more if it wasn’t for all the cheesy, over the top accents. Those got old really quick. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Asian inspired setting either. Maybe it would have worked if it wasn’t a comedy most of the time.

Not as far as sub counts are concerned. Really the only two complains I hear about MoP was SoO duration and “PANDAS”
If they hadn’t flubbed SoO it would have been remembered even better especially with WoD and BFA under their belts now. They also flubbed the intention of MoP by leading with the whole “There is no big bad”, something that ultimately wasn’t true as they turned Garrosh into the villain.

If your argument is “There’s no originality left- so expecting any effort to be put into the story is stupid” then you’re just a moron.
It’d be nice if the story DIDN’T REPEAT ITSELF. I don’t mind if we repeat OTHER stories because it’s NOT warcraft’s story being redone over and over again.
