Bfa had some awesome music

yeah yeah I know bfa bad n whatnot. Still though, the music was absolutely on point for the entire expansion. Going to nazmir still gives me spooky chills, drustvar is the halloween fantasy incarnate, whenever the music swells in warfronts with that iconic boralus harbor music i feel so hype, nazjatar has an amazing range of music, and the spoopy chanting that goes along with alot of the nzoth zones is something i’ve fallen in love with. Wow has always had good music but i think overall bfa has hit it out of the park in terms of great themes.

Now that you’ve read me gas on about how great bfas music was, what some of your more liked tracks in wow music as a whole? I’m imagining alot of pandaria tracks coming my way.

Dazar’alor probably has my favorite music in all of WoW. To bad the in-game depiction of the city did not even come close to matching the lore and concept art of the place. Or even other troll cities like Zul’Drak.

Edit: Ulduar also has some phenomenal music! Like this piece.

Boralus music and the sea chanty bits were great.

The art and music team working on WoW have been consistently amazing for the entire history of the game.

Each and every expansion, you can count on the music to be fantastic! I have favorites from every expansion, I love them all, honestly. Eversong Woods and Silvermoon (especially the ‘night’ versions of them) will always be my favorite but I also love Waycrest Manor, Echo Isles, Howling Fjord, Revendreth, and so many others. The story or the gameplay may not always deliver, but the art and music does!

I enjoyed both of these immensely.

The art and sound teams have been carrying tbh.

Grizzly hills, icecrown, vash’ir, jade forest, stormheim and highmountain were all :kissing_heart::ok_hand:

BFA was nicely done…by the art team and quest designers. The systems is what ruined it.

Edit: forgot to say, voice actors were pretty good too.

The in-between music when flying to and fro Oribos and the four realms - feels like peering into a Disney film

That’s why I never hearthed in any of these zones

shadowlands music is probably the worst.

Revendreth music is fantastic.

Everything else? Ehhhhh. So forgettable I couldn’t tell you one mushy ambiance piece from the other, or what zones they were even from.

BfA was also the last expansion I have been able to find some decent desktop wallpapers for?

Heck yeah, BfA had top notch music. I love zoning into Dazar’alor, especially the ‘I’m near a body of water’ track. Perfect for mellowing out on my pandaren raft and knocking back some brews

BFA is my favorite xpac :gift_heart:
From the sea, to the bees and the spooky stuff… It even had dinos!
