Let me start by telling you some of my history, I started playing in 2005 the last year of Vanilla playing warlock warrior. Loved it, rolled a shaman and warrior in BC, loved it, played shaman and warrior in WotLK, played Warrior in Cata, then came MoP which made me fall in love with WoW again. Played Warrior, Paladin, Monk, Hunter, and Shaman. WoD was just Hunter Warrior, Legion Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Warlock. BFA, Warrior main, Paladin, Hunter, Warlock.
Ive led a Mythic Raiding guild in MoP, and RBG team in WoD, and one of the biggest RP guilds in ED in Legion. So Ive done it all, I played a lot of content but never was an achievement hunter.
So now we have that established, I love BFA. Let me point out why.
Round 1) Armor sets, "but Rodians there is no class armor" agreed class armor isn't a thing right now, but there are over 20 class armor sets you can get in game. Heritage armor, warfront/elite pvp, and raid armor. We are getting 3 sets of unique armor per patch minimum. Raid, a heritage, and PvP/elite pvp. So stop crying about that.
Round 2) PvP imbalance, so what its always gonna be like that because the player base is so vast. Horde have OP racials, so what thats never deterred me from being competitive, but FotM, never deterred me from playing what I love because im not an MLG tourney pvpers and neither are you.
Round 3) Horde/Alliance Bias, so what? Either or it doesn't matter, blizzard always has a faction push and pull, then it goes back to the great stalemate and works. Look at the Story of MoP, Look at Cata, Look at All video games of this ideation.
Round 4) A sense of adventure , casuals complaining they fight at the MLG360Noscope levels ruins their sense of adventure. There is no finish line in this game so stop sprinting and burning out every month.
Round 5) Friends, ive not made as many friends this expac as in others because of server, time, actvity, nit being an edgy like the rest. Whatevs.
Round 6) I a professional artist, and this game agrees with me. I've spent so much time looking around and enjoy so much of this expac.
As a professional Concept Artist, and Visual Developer in the mobile games industry. WoW is an iconic game because of the culture, not just the content. So blizzard if your are listening, I have seven years experience in visual development and six years as Concept Artist in the gaming industry.
Now I know what is on your mind "Hecking hire this guy" You got my contact info. I'll be wearing a Robot Pencil Tshirt on the first day you hire me.
(Here is some of my art to get you jogging <3 )

Am I having a stroke, or am I reading something from someone actually think like this?
You should just put "btw I'm a Blizz fanboi apologist" at the top of your post. Would save everybody a lot of time.
So how much is Blizzard paying you to write this?
I suppose some people just have low standards.
I have always been a bigger fan of:
"Blizzard Failed Again"
That fits this expansion more then anything else in my honest opinion. I hate saying that. Like so many of you I want BfA to be great. Just too many wrong choices got made and I just don't believe they want to change anything back.
What hurts even more is with how bad everything is you wonder if any of the newer developers even play their own game. There is such a disconnect because the developers are almost trying to make a new game and not WoW anymore.
Kind of sad honestly.

By the way, the last year of Vanilla was 2006 or maybe technically 2007 since TBC was released January 16, 2007.
Honestly, this expansion was a little bumpy for me at first but it's grown on me. Zuldazar and Nazmir alone are so amazing that it kinda compensates for the lack of individual class stories (although I still haven't found the motivation to level another Alliance through that snoozefest of a story).
They've given us tons of pets to collect, tons of mounts to collect and tons of new transmog armor to go after. The base game is still the base game and that's always been enjoyable.
The only negative I still have is the Island expeditions. I hate that so many pets and mounts are locked behind this mind numbing content that I've all but written off anything from there as thigns I'll never get.

Really, I started playing in Sophmore year in like december of 2005, or was it November but had to wait another year before I could play. My parents got into wow after that South Park Episode and thats when I started getting to play everyday.
It was always, go play waterpolo, you fat piece of log. So I played Waterpolo, then they let me play WoW. So forgive me if 13~14 years recollection is tough theres been a lot booze since then.
This is probably the best casual expac to date. Hardcore players gripe because they’re playing this game all wrong — it’s about the journey and not about the destination.

I make 85k a year from my job and 24k a year in my Service Pension. Blizzard pays me 0k a year to love this game.
Now we know Ion's character's name.
Well, regardless of whether you just wrote that to try and get a job (odd way to apply if you ask me), it was refreshing to read something positive for a change. Thanks for a good spin in this sea of negativity that is the GD.

YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES! Play video games to enjoy the experience not to grind gear and erp.

1 set per armor type in the raid compared to 1 per class seems like a lot less to me.

Math time,
4 Raid, 4 Pvp, 4 Warfront/elite Pvp, 3 Heritage atm. 15 sets of Armor. Yes its not Class armor, but last expac was all about Class Fantasy and you lived it. Now its Faction Fantasy, where players can mesh together with Faction based armor, and race based armor. To help build the bigger racial and faction pride rather than warriors vs mages vs paladins vs demon hunters. This is the Expansion (editted expansions ) where we all STAND AS ONE!

This is good to hear, in a personal bout. I didn't like island expeditions either, so I do them casually when Im leveling characters and trying to learn a new class like my mage. Its not for everyone, but good to see things get better,

This line of thinking is so rude. Dont tell others what they should and how they should enjoy it so that an expansion that is lackluster in areas of the game it used to excel doesnt suck for them.
It's like if they removed lfr and people were upset and I got on here telling them to just do normal the games not getting free handouts.
I like this expansion to but it has some faults and putting blindfolds on and saying "it's not a problem if you just care about other things" helps no one.
and out come the toxic trolls, if you don't think like me and hate this game you're a white knight fanboi shill...yep

It's all good Homie, im not here to change minds or tell someone they are wrong. People enjoy things in their own way :D
