Hey all,
I created a new Rogue for BFA. My old one has the Fangs of the Devourer hidden artifact appearance, and I would like to continue unlocking the remaining 3 appearances. The requirements for these appearances are the completion of feats with the first hidden artifact appearance equipped. For example, the fourth appearance is unlocked by killing 1000 enemy players with a hidden appearance equipped.
Does having my weapons transmogged to the hidden appearance count as having it equipped, or do I actually need to use the now defunct weapon itself?
Last I checked you don’t need to have the weapon equipped to get the other hidden colors. You just need to have the weapon skin unlocked in order for your progress towards the other colors to count.

Like Hitoshura said you don’t need it equipped just unlocked. A tip I heard was that if you have any hidden weapon unlocked for that class it will progress for the other weapons skins even if you don’t have the original color unlocked.

Ah ok, thanks fellas. Is there a way to check up on the progress? This is my alliance Rogue who has the artifact weapons unlocked. Just to be clear, progress made using Techlink will still count, even though he is a different character who never did any of the Legion stuff?
The unlocks are account wide. It would have been stupid to require 1k HKs while use 3 or 4 different weapon skins. Or 200 WQs using 3 or 4 different weapon skins.
