BfA Elemental Leveling Weapon?

I’m looking to level this shaman as my next alt, want to do it as elemental (tired of playing melee at the moment).

The weapon I’m using right now was the reward from the intro quest, and it’s pretty meh.

I’d like to go find something before I start leveling seriously, so I’m not totally gimped.

Is there a caster weapon (or MH/OH weapons) I can get early on in BfA? Maybe a drop from a rare or a quest reward? I checked the AH, and there wasn’t much available.

2 H weapons would be easier as you only need one.

1H and OH is harder to maintain.

Leveling is so fast and gear comes in so rapidly that I would not worry about trying to find one specific weapon/weapon set. Just take whatever pops up as an upgrade.

I would suggest always keeping the higher ilvl of the MH/OH set if replaced by a 2H. Because as soon as you get rid of it for that shiny new upgrade 2H…bam your next item will be that weapon or shield you been needing.
