BFA Dungeons Might Need Nerfed

So, I just tried to heal a Normal Atal’Dazar and a Normal Underrot. I have to say, they did not go well. The reason, from what I can gather, is that these are all new players being expected to complete dungeons originally designed for max-level and M+. So, most likely, no interrupts, no dispels, a new player’s worth of damage, and one heck of a frustrating time.

I can’t even blame the players I grouped with, because this is now LEVEL 10 content. As in, fresh-off-the-boat, just-got-out-of-Exile’s-Reach content. This might be the reason why new players are not showing up for Shadowlands, as keep in mind, experienced players now have no incentive to run these dungeons on alts, because of the lack of EXP. I only did it for the sake of practicing my heals.

I would argue that all of these dungeons should be nerfed significantly, particularly the trash in these dungeons. Like, a 6-second interruptible group-wide fear, like that on the Skyscreechers in Atal’Dazar, suddenly becomes much harder to deal with when no one knows what an “interrupt” is. Please, I am begging you, do something about this. Thank you for reading my post, and have a great day.

I don’t think they need a nerf. Content shouldn’t be nerfed just because a small population in the game can’t clear it or clear it efficiently.

I did em leveling a toon before and they were easy to me and my group.

Most classes dont start with an interrupt.

Nerf isnt the right word here. It is a balance issue from the level squish. I doubt they in a hurry to fix it, or anything

The were the original options for horde leveling in bfa. They were a pain but the scaling is what messed them up now.

Yet new players are siphoned into them after completing Exile’s Reach. Its a massive jump in difficulty because even normal BfA dungeons have numerous mechanics baked into them new players haven’t experience yet.

I know know that nerfing is the solution but there should at least being another rung of the ladder. They should revamp Stockages and RFC to give new players a better experience on how dungeons work.

Don’t you have to wait towards the end of the current x-pac before you can start going into the raids of the last one?

Scaling is why plus then compound that with 2 squishes we never recovered from and you get this stink hole.

Heh I had a mid teen lv warlock that was shuttled into a Legion Dungeon, Vault of the Wardens.

Was fun and funny but was more or less useless to the group. Pretty sure my imp was more effective than I was.

They were insanely super easy when B for A was live, but I think they got a bit overtuned with the level crunch.

So what your saying is, the issue isn’t a numbers thing, but a mechanics thing.
