Assuming you went in there at lvl 51+, BfA normals scale to lvl 60 now. Heroic/Mythics are only lvl 50 max.
No, I went in at max level, with 250+ ilvl.
On normal, bosses have like 1.5 million HP and just one-shot non tanks.
On mythic, bosses have like 300k HP
Normal scales to 60. Heroic and mythic scale to 50. You cannot enter heroic or mythic while in Chromie time.

BFA Mythics do not scale to max level. Normals do. That is why Normal bosses have more health than they do on Mythic. Believe me, there are MANY problems with scaling right now, but this is not one of them.
And Heroics don’t either?

Frankly, everything that isn’t max level Shadowlands or Dragonflight stuff is completely broken right now. Loot scaling is out of whack, Personal Loot isn’t even giving loot for the right class, much less the right spec, most dungeons from before Legion are just completely missing from the Dungeon Finder, actual mob scaling is broken in a bunch of different ways (I’ve seen reports, for example, that Overlord Ramtusk in Razorfen Kraul simply wipes entire groups in seconds right now).
Basically, if it’s not the Elemental Invasions, Max level Shadowlands stuff, or Dragonflight, it’s broken right now and probably not worth doing until stuff gets fixed.
Unfortunately, yes, this is the most terrible patch in the entire 18-year history of the game, we lost perfectly Blizzard quality now, because indeed almost all content for 16+ years is broken and this is disgusting and embarrassing for a multi-billion dollar corporation.
It just doesn’t fit in my head how it was possible to release this on live servers.
Something is definitely wrong with the BFA dungeon scaling. Entering random BFA dungeons through the dungeon finder and healers are finding them incredibly difficult. Abilities are hitting way harder than normal. As a tank, many boss melees are dealing 30-40% of my total health.
WoW needs to make prior dungeon/raid content easily solo-able at the max level of the current content. There is no need to gatekeep them anymore. Let those who prefer to explore them alone do so on their schedule, find their pets, transmogs, etc.
BFA dungeons are definitely scaling differently in Chromie time. I am leveling between 10-20 with dungeons and switching between Chromie times. No problem with classic, legion, mists, bc, or wotlk. BFA dungeons are nearly impossible though. I haven’t tried dungeons from the other time lines since DF went live though.
Yeah theyre way off in chromie time. Bosses HP is insanely high.
A month has passed, they still haven’t solved the problem, this is the novice’s experience, being killed by BFA
The patch has been terrible. People who are doing certain new contant haven’t noticed the scaling problem, but I encountered quite a few problems myself because I like to spend time leveling characters. The emphasis was totally on getting the new content ready, and they really don’t care that a lot of the scaling for older stuff was messed up.
Its now the end of January and BFA dungeon scaling is still crazy.
My son has started playing and we are leveling together and he wanted to try some dungeons and they are simply brutal.
And this after a crazy long wait for a healer - because no doubt most people dont want to heal broken dungeons.
Bosses taking 5 or 6 minutes to kill is just wrong for leveling dungeons. As others have said, I cant imagine how many new / returning players have given up on dungeons or even the game.
