While moving on to cataclysm and so forth, I want to talk about the features in retail Wow that I would rather not experience in the progression of Classic.
The Level System. the classic character level system is fine. i like traveling through the classic maps as i level up and do all the questlines in my favorite areas of Azeroth. i like how the system works all the way up to WoTLK. this also applies to the Profession Leveling system. I like how the additional expanded recipes and ranks stack on top of the previous ranks of the chosen profession. retails fast level system, phases, and timelines are nothing but I big hassle for me when i usually run multiple characters. and I like taking my time progressing to new expansion areas with new levels. new profession ranks should stack on previous ranks. moving forward please don’t change the level system in classic. please don’t change the profession system. just add to the rank/level cap as usual… please Blizzard, add those caps. i hate timelines, and i don’t care for the changes in the original quest lines. i don’t like a destroyed Strangle Thorne and altered questlines. Also, i want to point out the changes made to our talent systems. the talents dont need fixed, they are not broken. they dont need overhauled. stop making changes. add bonus talents or another tree but dont change the entire system.
This was hard to read.
Anyways, they are not going to change how levelling or profession levelling works from how it was originally, if that was your concern. Why would they expend effort doing that?
because it does change in retail. its way different. they compressed the exp and levels so they didnt have to add any caps and reduced the talent points gained from the level 80 cap forward. maybe you should read more carefully before you jump to conclusions.
I haven’t played past early cataclysm but yea I imagine it’s not too friendly to ppl that like to level. Story is out the window it seems.
I understand how it evolved in retail. You think Blizzard is going to retroactively change how it works in Classic re-releases? Honestly a silly concern.
