Hi all, I am one of the GMs of a group called Availed on Proudmoore. I wanted to make a post to warn users about a player using my group’s name to sell carries. This is a scam. Please report them if you see them. They are posting this on every major popular server.
If you have proof (such as screenshots) of them trying to scam you, then you are able to submit those to Blizzard directly via the report function. Additionally, they created a false Discord server which you can report to Discord, too. For safety reasons please do not join these, but if you have then you can still report them to the appropriate authority.
I am truly sorry for any trouble this has caused, but we don’t know who this player is and I don’t know how to prevent this other than trying to warn everyone.
Please be wary of this user, consider spreading word – and most importantly – report that player so we can avoid more people falling victim to them. Thank you.
