BEWARE belt unobtainable if you max console before quest

I went to an OC delve, and the console didn’t present a quest, it was usable, I was already in the delve, so I went ahead and ground out the mount.

even though you admit you knew a quest was suppose to be there and there was a quest for the console soo ya you ignored the quest and ignore going to get it, ignored leaving the delve taking 2mins to go to dorn to get said quest 2mins to go back to the delve then farm

sorry but this truly falls on you just being to lazy to go and pick the quest up.

Go home wario, you’re drunk

im to busy enjoying my belt, that i got my quest for before going to the overcharged delve i didnt say nah ill farm first even though the console is for a quest to begin with like it was on the PTR but nah ill farm instead of going to get a quest i know i need.

again so far your the only one who decided to farm before getting said quest, All others having issues are people doing it in groups and not dropping for everyone, the other guy fixed his issue by re-installing wow and he was able to use the console and upgrade again.

once again you NEW in PTR a quest was for the console, YOU KNEW there was a quest for the Overcharged delve, YOU KNEW this patch was made for the belt, YOU KNEW all this and again ill say it ignored it all and farmed.

Doesn’t make me upset in the least, I’m glad you have the belt, and I hope all your alts do too. I also hope I’m the only person stuck in this predicament, I don’t take pleasure in the suffering of others, sadism seems to be your cup of tea.

I do however hope this gets fixed for me, and nobody else gets stuck in this trap, it’s lame.

dont think anyone else will get trapped people got quest first, the discs NOT dropping for everyone in group def needs fixed thats for sure. people falling threw the delve map so far read 1 person that happen to needs fixed, the Console bugging out and having to re-install wow needs fixed though again so far only read 1 person that happen to, and people having the quest but for some reason cant turn in needs fixed but it seems it bugs if your in lorewalking quest or something idk much about that one only read a few posts on that one…now Lorewalking cho my god ALLL of that needs fixed lol.

I can honestly say I can see blizzard making the items you need DROP for everyone again even if the tree is maxed out i can see them doing that…the question is when,

I mean they still have NOT fixed the raid rep for people a week behind and will alwasy be a week behind

Anyway, I’m taking my kids camping for the weekend. I’d appreciate your assistance in keeping this thread alive over the weekend, so that I can get some blue post attention to this issue.

I charge you with this task General Wårio-area-52

Someone may have said but you can farm the 50 shards on another character and send it to this one. They’re warbound

no he cant tree is account wide so does NOT drop for any of his toons

Sry this happened to you Asiriusfox

So now I’m wondering…what about anyone who gets an alt to 80 before season 3 but after they maxed the titan tree? I plan to and this will be a problem because I’m gonna max the titan tree first. This has potential issues for everyone, really.

If you’ve already fully completed the DISC Belt intro quest on your main, and already fully maxed out the Titan tree, it won’t be an issue for your alts because the alt quest doesn’t require titan shards.

The issue is that the console didn’t give the quest when the patch went live, so you could without knowing skip the quest, and max the console. Once the console is maxed shards no longer drop. This prevents me from turning in the quest because I have no shards in my inventory, and they no longer drop.

they didnt pick the quest up, instead they ignored the quest and started to farm the tree, once they where at the delve quest was NOT there instead of going to get it they said screw the quest im already here and farmed the tree and maxed it out

Oh I know what the OP did. It might be wrong of me to find it funny but I can’t help but chuckle at their predicament, even if it is an oversight on the dev’s part.

My response was to Spooky, but I think I may have misunderstood their question. Although why would you fill out the tree on a sub 80 alt before doing it on your main?

I wish I had an account to test it with because I’m curious to see what would happen, but unlike the OP, I picked up the quest first.

In all honesty, I think Overcharged delves shouldn’t be unlocked until you pick up the belt quest. That would have solved any confusion.

i am glad that i did the quest before mindlessly farming 25+ tier 1 delves in order to max the console

it gets complicated, as everything with me XD
I have like 4 or 5 mains and a bunch of alts  But it prob won’t be an issue. I was just pondering but you both explained to me why that wouldnt be a problem, thanks

What I find interesting, and is probably definitely an oversight, is that you can’t pick up the belt quest until you’re level 80, but you can do overcharged delves from level 70. So aside from the OP who just ignored the belt quest, there might be some fresh level 70s who get in the same situation by doing delves while they’re leveling.

Possibly but i dont see NEW NEW players getting to 70 then lvling to 80 in delves i can see them doing some to lvl but not enough to farm to fill the tree

After weeks of back and fourth with “customer service” basically just closing my tickets after opening them, and claiming they have no way to communicate with the developers, and editing my bug reports with updates each week that the issue still persists, they have turned back on shard drops, and I am able to complete the quest chain. The shards just stay in my inventory, I have 1700, and now they no longer drop again, but I needed shards in my inventory to be able to click “complete” on the quest.

The moral of this story is Don’t play new content right away, there is little to no actual testing done prior to it going live, and customer service will do nothing, they exists to only make you feel like they exist.

Moral of the story is if you KNOW there is a quest for the new delves from PTR and quest was NOT at normal spot go and search for it before doing the new delve thats all it comes down to really, again you admited in the very first post before you edited and changed it, you said screw it im already here im going to farm and complete the tree first.
