Between the Eyes will not cast as intended pretty frequently. Most often occurs during crackshot windows, and always with full combo points.
Ability is off cooldown, I have combo points, target is in front of me and in range, sound and animation plays but the ability does not cast otherwise and is spammable. Using another combo point spender fixes the issue.
Bug is fairly common and ruins a major damage window
Can confirm this bug is happening, and way too often. Leveled through the expansion on my rogue first, so I dealt with this literally everywhere - out in the world questing, at rares, in delves, in dungeons.
It also seems to affect Ambush in a similar manner, as I’ve had plenty of instances of it not going off and using combo points either. Doesn’t seem as frequent as Between the Eyes’ bug, though, but it definitely is there.

Yeah I am having this issue as well. I also had it in the Alpha/Beta. I’ve made them aware muitiple times and left feeback on the skill. Lets hope they fix it soon. It messed with the rotation
I’m having this issue as well, really messes with my rotation and kills damage output. Hoping this gets acknowledged and fixed soon!
4/09 the bug still continues, cero fixes. I don’t even have to mention that this bug mostly screw the entire burst window, making crackshoot build (the best build so far) completely usseles, AND because of the very nature of outlaw rogue skill bloating, a complete mess. I guess I’ll just have to leave my main till this get fixed, lol.

Its happening to me very frequently since I started leveling my rogue.
Occurs in all scenarios: world, dungeon, delves.
Happen to me all the time, at least give me the damage so that i can kill everything during my burst window
Hello i’d like to comment that i’ve narrowed down the cause of this on my end and would like to know if anyone else can replicate it the exact same way.
Here are the steps to replicate the bug on my end
Note that this reset is purely visual and the cooldown is functioning normally you just can’t see it.
Can confirm this is exactly what happens. The blade flurry from stealth is key, I tried vanishing and opening with ambush with BTE on cd the entire time and the cd continues showing on the icon. Only when you blade flurry does the cd disappear
Oddly enough, managing to do this at the end of a vanish window, I was able to get this to bug out BTE while outside the Subterfuge window for a bit, which was not organically happening prior. The bug was falling off at the end of Subterfuge pretty consistently before. And I basically never use Cheap Shot in content that isn’t PVP, where is most of my play time.
It’s potential that you found another broken interaction that consistently creates the issue. Good job either way, but I think it’s just another byproduct of a larger issue.
This needs to be fixed by the sept 17th update., why buff the 4pc when we can’t even use between the eyes.
Ah, makes sense. I was wondering what was happening. It makes trying to play my rogue kinda annoying.
this bug makes the spec virtually unplayable and i swear its getting worse. in every key ive done this happens on the majority of pulls and just destorys my dps.
The spec is literally broken, a core part of the rotation literally doesnt work, and blizz has said nothing about it, its actually unreal how awful this is.
