Why has Blizzard barely even added to Shadowlands weak Controller support update? Why not modernize your game and join 2026? All your competitors have excellent controller support (with custom UI) and here we are having to use an addon for a working game (ConsolePort addon)
i know a small number of people use controller in WoW but even a few more players would earn them more money! i can no longer play with mouse and keyboard in games as my wrist die 10 mins after starting. Even typing this is starting to be annoying.
i’m probably wrong and stupid

I am not really sure how they would. Biggest problem seems to be picking specific targets to interrupt/cc/ burst down.
Its why I can hit 2200+ in solo arena ona. Controller but struggle to do my weekly 8, 10s.
No you’re not. They were supposed to work on controller support for accessibility reasons. I don’t know what happened to that.
You could send an email to the accessibility team. Let me go find the address.
Edit: I should have remembered the email address was logically easy. LOL accessibility@blizzard.com
I tried playing WoW on RoG ally x and it doesn’t have enough keys, I ordered a stylus from Amazon thinking i could use that on the tiny buttons onscreen and I will see how that goes.
I wanna play while lying in bed so getting keyboard and mouse won’t work.
Ion said in an interview before Midnight that working on controller more wasn’t a priority IIRC. Probably because they know ConsolePort exists would be my guess as to why they aren’t investing more time on it.

Eventually to make WoW grow more they will need to release WoW on consoles. PS5/6, Xboxs and Switch 2. Working on a native controller UI would assist the game a lot. But i am a loser on a forum, what do i know.
No you’re not. You gave reasonable feedback, and explained your reasons well.
I use a ROG Allly - Console Port Addon - configure on PC, then export to the tiny screen. Would be nice if the add on was legible on the Ally screen.
Sadly, as mentioned, controller support isn’t a priority right now, but ConsolePort is still getting very frequent updates! It’s not perfect and it tends to have a number of hiccups, but it does a good job at making everything controller friendly!
Having ANY controller support has been exceptionally helpful for me, so I’m hoping they flesh it out further down the road.
