I purchased Skyhorn upgrade, installed WoW Forever Beta, but the beta version of the game will not launch. I have run Scan and Repair, restarted Battle.Net client, restarted laptop numerous times and even uninstalled Beta, restarted laptop and reinstalled. Beta still will not launch.
Same issue with my wifes laptop (different model) & account. I know the server is going down 01 October PST but that is still at least 2 hours away.
Any thoughts on how to fix would be appreciated.
is it a graphics issue or the game just not booting up? i have a 2019 macbook pro and had to tone down secondary lighting to prevent my computer from completely glitching out every time i logged into a character
Beta simply will not launch. No error messages, just no response at all. I can play all other versions of the game without any issues
Do you have Trend Micro? Some people in this thread reported it blocking WoW Forever: WoW Forever does not launch - #16 by BrokeN-1317885
They were able to get it working by adding an exception for WoW Forever .exe in Trend Micro.
Also check the laptop meets the minimum specifications.
