It appears to be legit. When you copy/paste the download link in the email to your browser…it takes you to blizz’s website. Hope this helps

I got an email with an invite but it hasn’t appeared on my launcher, I would say to anyone else in the same situation not to click any of those links and just wait for the thing to pop up in the launcher itself.

I didn’t get an email. I just opened the launcher and saw the dropdown menu to install the beta. I did that and logged in and the server was offline. So, now I wait.

I used a token 3 days ago… and just got the stress test invite… It’s not Beta… but maybe it will be later…

Your confirmation of if you were selected for something (either Beta and/or Stress Test) will be if you restart your Launcher and see if it’s in the dropdown menu. It’ll say “Beta & Stress Test: WoW Classic” – Anything that has you “click” on something or gives you a code is a scam.

Got my invite and installing Classic Beta right now…read your email correctly the info to install is right there…launch your bnet app…then this Once you’re logged in, select World of Warcraft on the left, and then use the drop down menu near the Play or Install button to select the Beta & Stress Test: WoW Classic option.

Click Install , then Start Install .

Received mine at 10:12pm EST. In launcher, make sure you toggle Region/Account dropdown and select “Beta & Stress: Wow Classic”.

I just got into the stress test, meaning I can create a level 5 for two hours tomorrow. I’m downloading it right now, but why must they tease me like this!!! Last day of my sub too, go figure. At least now I’ll know how it runs on this old machine, I was kind of meh until I realized that, now I’m happy. I wonder if this makes me more likely to be selected at a later date as they let more in?

To get beta you have to be a streamer or a new player.

did all of that what it said and its not in the drop down, all i see is my live account and PTR accnt. and untill its confirmed its real im not clicking that link in the email.
