Just checked, got into the beta.

I believe I opened my WoW account around 2006/2007. I can’t pinpoint the actual creation time.

It’s phased now. Up to a certain point it exists. After which it get destroyed. Same thing happens to Darnassus.

Works like this. once you get to the bfa levels of wow, the battle of lordaeron happens, sylvannas deliberately poison bombs it cause the alliance is winning and is about to claim it as alliance territory. a method in war called scorched earth when your opponent is about to seize your land, you make it unliveable.

so to go back to the time before the battle, once you are passed it in levels, you have to talk to an npc outside the city and have her show you the old version. or, visit it on a character below bfa level
