Im not good enough to do M+, I suck.
Im not good enough to pvp, I suck.
I don’t have the ability to dedicate 2 or 3 hours a night 2 to 3 nights a week (or more)
Sorry that the parts of the game that I can and have done aren’t up to your standards. (not really sorry)

Dude believe me Beta is really messed up right now. I have played the last 4 betas and this one is so screwed up. I can’t believe it this late in the game. Makes BfA look like Disneyland! I’m seriously glad they postponed it. Hopefully for months to fix things
Can’t really do much on the PTR.
I believe they took away the new quests. Also heard they took out chromie time. Unless a new build went up within the last day or two.
All I do on there is test out class changes and watch trade chat ask how to get to shadowlands. So I don’t log on much now since I tested what I wanted to test.

i’ve never touched M+, and still have no problem keeping myself entertained.
you could start learning, if it’s something you want to do.
start with randoms.
there’s plenty of the game which you can do, but haven’t done.

most achievements are account-wide, if you want to see what i’ve done in game, all you need to do is click through to my armory.
-and this isn’t an alt, it’s my “forum main”, and has been fore 10+ years.

Don’t mind the players keeping people down because they themselves have beta. I hope there will be another wave next week and that you get one.
In reality you’re gonna wanna play it when it’s done, I think. I mean, it doesn’t sound like killing the hype by playing an unfinished version is a good idea.

This player is WrA. I’m going to assume they’re a roleplayer who enjoys the game for it’s story. Based on their achievements they play fairly casual. Which is totally fine.
Right now there isn’t much for casual players to do if they’ve tried everything.
I don’t think the advice “Go find something to do” is solid advice. Clearly there isn’t anything left in the game that they enjoy. The avenues that Blizzard put into place for them are exhausted. Not everyone wants to go collect pets or do pet battles.
We’ve been on this patch for almost 10 months now? Lots of people are getting bored. Heck even beta player are bored already according to Preach’s latest video and those guys are top notch players. I’m also bored.
beta has a big range of people… they’re not all ce players.
if someone gets bored easily, what’s the point in giving them beta access?
it just means they’ll get bored faster when the expansion goes live.
i made the suggestion that they go find jenafur.
someone with over 800 pets, seems to like pets.

Worth doing the PTR, I played it until I got beta access. Helped me end up making my class choice. Plus you can master any rotational changes and maybe find some bugs even.
So only people YOU think play the game to its fullest are allowed to get bored of the game, allowed to want new stuff to do?

4/12 LFR top M+ a 9 yeah id be bored too with so little effort actually done. Get a guild and atleast clear normal or some heroic bosses…no excuse.
You say your bored and its obviously because you need something to do so suggesting to go do higer contebt is an option and really one that you neglected to do so saying your bored when you have done so little really only has yourself to blame for not pushing further into the content thats available.
You cant be bored of something that you have hardly bothered to even touch thats just neglection. But yeah I guess as. Bully said you got PTR class testing though with the casual play done this expansion why would you need beta?
Its for testing to find bugs and not for a person to just casually play because bored. Id certainly not want a person who hardly plays any content to test my game to find issues because youd never see any.
That beta key in all honesty and no offense would be put to better use with someone else.

Again. That may not be the content they enjoy. Or it may be content they enjoy, but this tier may not be able to hold their attention. Also, there is very little reason to do content that will be obsolete in a matter of months. Others share this sentiment as well.
They need to test other things on Beta aside from just end game stuff. They need people to tests the quests. They need folks to test those odd places people manage to wander to and get stuck. They need people who don’t do the same thing everyone else does.
Different players provide a wide array of feedback. A hardcore player may say “This quest is great don’t change it.” While a newer player or more casual player may say “I don’t quite understand this, it’s not clear enough with the current quest text. Please change it.”
Preach was saying in his latest video that the raid testers are currently bored with raid testing and didn’t show up to latest test.
I’d love customers who aren’t engaged to test my products because maybe then I can figure out why they aren’t engaged. It’s cheaper for most businesses to retain current customers than spending dollars trying to acquire newer ones.
Who else? The current ones with the keys? The core players who run mythic+ and raid mythic? Most people who fit into the category are going to be playing WoW regardless of how the expansion turns out. We’ve seen that with BFA. Yes you need those players.
However, you also need the players who left or people who don’t play everyday. You need their opinion as to why they’re not playing everyday. Are they finding the content engaging? What are their thoughts on the things in beta? Them playing is also providing data. Not just reporting bugs.
I think it’s just silly to only include one group of players in beta. Which thankfully they don’t do. Because there are beta testers on the beta forum who are just like OP. Heck I know some who are 0/12 LFR and zero mythic+ dungeons completed. Should they not be there?
