Rofl I’m not holding my breath. My guess is TWW is gonna launch with hunter getting not even a whisper of an update on the horizon. It MIGHT come by the first big patch and honestly with the state of the hero talents I’d expect it to be maybe the only class rework that’s just bad lol
Just full cynical pessimism mode at this point until blizzard proves me wrong.

I mean, we not only are the only class to get LITERALLY nothing for the entire Alpha, we are also the only class who got told that literally no changes are coming.
At this point what else are we supposed to think - they told us and now are backing it up.

Now that I think of it, what exactly would I be able to test in the beta?
We almost certainly won’t be able to talk to that NPC and get 10 hero talent points for free, in beta you have to really level up to test the new stuff. That leaves us only with the opportunity to test the 3y reduced melee range for survival. Because everything else is LITERALLY the same.

There are no specific changes at this time - This means there are no changes, not that there ARE changes like you keep claiming. Words mean things.

They are “reading our feedback” and “working on cleaning up” the hero trees - Alpha is over and this literally never happened. Nothing was changed on any of them or any other aspect of the class for that matter.

Claiming our feedback has been helpful and they expect to have some revisions in a future Alpha build - Alpha is over, nothing was revised or changed in any capacity.
There was no revisions, changes, adjustments, clean ups, nothing. In fact the ONLY part of the ENTIRE announcement that ACTUALLY did occur is the “No changes to announce at this time” part.
I dont know if you just live in opposite world where words mean the opposite or if you are just OD’ing on copium or whats going on but it’s pretty damn cut and dry.

So if something does happen in the next 3 months will you publicly announce that you were wrong? Or will you say “well actually it doesn’t count”? I know this is a rhetorical question because you’re a very abrasive person and you like to make very grand claims

Are you referring to “At this time”? Because At This Time would be ALPHA.
BWhich is why we are discussing ALPHA. Everything in the context of “at this time” would be referring to ALPHA. Its almost like an entire discussion of Hunters in ALPHA during ALPHA is about ALPHA.
Further proof: ALPHA is over and guess what never happened in ALPHA.

Yes because I would absolutely LOVE to be wrong but major overhauls historically dont happen in Beta, they happen in Alpha, thats the entire point of Alpha. Generally what goes into Beta more or less represents what goes live outside of some tuning.
Its literally how things went down with SL, BFA and DF. Why would I have ANY reason to believe this would be any different?
Now, as this is discussing things in BETA where there has been absolutely no announcement of anything from Blizzard its all entirely speculation and based on my feelings.
Unlike everything I said previously, which once again, was talking about ALPHA based on Blizzards literal announcement during ALPHA about ALPHA.
I guess I needed to also spell out that, along with words mattering because they mean things, context also matters.
Is there anything else you need explicitly spelled out in excruciating detail?

I would also love to be wrong, but with the lack of any meaningful changes/communication from the Dev that I’m convinced we do not have, I’m not going to hold my breath.

I’m no English major but what are you talking about lol. Yes no changes happened but that’s not what was said. There are plenty of things to be upset about as a hunter we don’t need to lie as well.
