Beta Invites

I’ve been playing WoW since vanilla, I hardcore raid on all roles with the occasional dabble in mythic raiding, and have been opted in since it was possible, yet I have never received a beta invite. Ever. I am either the most unlucky person in the world, or beta invites just aren’t random. It’s hard to believe that in 15 years I haven’t gotten a single invite; that’s almost lucky, seeing as how many chances I’ve had to get it.

Edit: I really do just want to know if they’re random, I’ve heard that they are and aren’t, just want to confirm.

If I could give you one I would, I have 2 on separate accounts. I think it’s actually dumb that we can’t give them away in situations like this.

I’ve never gotten one. It used to be annoying. I remember being the only person on the Ravenholdt IRC (Before Discord) without beta. Having to be nice and ask people to test things for me sucked a lot.

Lucky for me, I no longer care about such things. I have no faith that Blizzard can make Sub a great spec again, so the only thing I basically do anymore is hop around and double jump/glide on my DH…lol

At this point we’re not all that far from launch, so I’m not as concerned with getting one, I’m merely just curious as to how I’ve evaded an invite in every wave. While it would be nice to have one, I don’t believe I’m entitled, I just want to know if they really are random!

I only know of one other in a situation like mine, though I don’t really go searching for them I guess. I’m not even sure how many invites usually go out! So fair point I suppose, I’m just kinda baffled by my stupendously low luck stat!

Same subbed since Nov 24 2004 never received a Beta Inv.

A certain amount goes out to Media outlets reps, along with community reps (aka streamers) and then an unspecified amount to regular account holders like you and me.

All you can do, is what you have been doing this entire time… wait.
