No that’s just plain wrong. There were ton of bug reports yesterday. Don’t try to act tough my friend, you might fall and break your neck on that high horse you’re riding.
I ran the Tirisgarde Sound incursion four times in a row y-day. There were literally no bugs. I was done in less than an hour. Do you have any specific examples?
Wow. Tirisgarde sure looks different than it did when I ran it last night. But the Horde players falling over like paper seems about right. But maybe one bug on the most recent incursion. That doesn’t change the fact that every single one I’ve ran for the past week has been flawless.
One bug? Shows how laughably clueless you actually are. That “one bug” pretty much prevents Horde players from doing TWO of the FIVE world quests in the Incursion. Another of the world quests is bugged and you are unable to interact with the chest that summons the mob. Also, since the OP posted this thread an hour ago, it’s clear he wasn’t talking about Tirasgarde. He was talking about the Nazmir incursion going on right now.
Got anything else? One bug does not make a pattern. It also does not mean every other single quest for the past week and a half has worked just fine. But let’s keep discussing this one bug.
Since you seem to be unable to read, that one bug prevents players from completing two of the five total world quests in the Incursion. Another bug prevents players from interacting with the chest that spawns the mob for another of the world quests. So now you have exactly two of the world quests left that you can do and you need four to finish the quests.
First off, it affects Horde players. So no big loss there. Second, regardless of the impact of this one bug, it is still one bug in one incursion that will almost definitely be fixed by the next time this one rolls around. Third, this still doesn’t change the fact that every other incursion has worked like a charm. Forth, the premise that this game is still in a Beta state is clearly false. I haven’t had so much as a hiccup in the game’s function since BfA launched. The most toxic and off-putting element since August has been the players. If Blizzard really wanted to improve the quality of WoW they would begin a purge the likes of which have not been seen since Stalin.
Tis the season for whining and complaining when you don’t get exactly what you want when you want it how you want it. The real holiday sprit is righteous indignation.
As mentioned by Girandzim, yes, Nazmir is the main one I’m referring to. The submarine exploit makes 2 WQs in the area nigh-incompletable for Horde because they literally one shot players (I got hit myself for 165k instantly).
The chest that spawns the rare for one of the elite EQs is untargetable at times, making several server shards impossible to complete it on.
In last week’s Nazmir’s incursion, quest items weren’t spawning for significant number of players for the ship world quest. The last quest can also be bugged, making affected players DC immediately upon hopping into the rocket vehicle, or the “Alliance army” you have to defeat in the rocket simply not appearing at all (likely phasing issues).
The outcome for Voldun’s Spider vs Gorilla battle wasn’t affected by contributions during the first week.
Multiple world quests had insufficient quest spawns and lengthy respawn timers. Eg. the first one in Boralus yesterday had 30+ Horde players fighting over 5 npc spawns, each of which takes 2+ minutes to spawn. Another example would be Nazmir’s “spray the Ancient” which also had issues with insufficient spawns and lengthy respawns on barrels previously.
Need me to go on with this essay? Just because you got lucky, doesn’t mean everyone else did. Or maybe it’s lolalliancebias.
Your first sentence completely destroys any credibility you might have had. Yes, let’s screw over the other half of the player base because you don’t like them and it doesn’t affect you directly.
I suppose the toxic players you mention also include yourself?
I don’t believe so. Blizzard gave up on Alpha and Beta testing properly. BFA is evidence of this. Blizzard also has severed themselves from the community, in that they won’t talk with us. Conversation between the game developers and players is so damn important for progress. But we don’t have conversations. Blizzard makes decisions, whether they communicate that or not, and what’s done is done. Blizzard makes a game and expects the players to be happy regardless of what happens. They would do so much better if they went out of their way to have discourse with the community on a regular basis.
That’s not cool, really it affects us all even if it didn’t seem to effect Alliance at the time, we’re all gamers here on the forums, so leave the faction in the game where it belongs
I don’t think ive encountered a single path of progression in this game that didn’t have a significant bug or need major tuning before it was able to be reasonably completed. Well except maybe the raid, didn’t do that. but PvP was an absolutely S show for weeks at launch of season, islands bugged, world quests bugged. this type of thing really doesn’t bother me much but its crazy how unpolished this xpac is compared to Legion or WoD.
Unfortunately it’s not just limited to incursions, My voidwalker can hold aggro, picking herbs sometimes yields no loot, etc etc, this is just completely unacceptable the amount of bugs we have in BfA, the quality is rock bottom lately!
I hear you. My group lost the timer on a M13 King’s Rest last week, because a bug caused the poison thrown by the slime adds in the Tomb room to cause your WoW client to literally crash if you so much touch it. All of us but 1 dps got kicked out; needless to say, it was a wipe. We missed the timer in the end by like 1 min+. I’m honestly getting sick of all these bugs, and I’m seriously considering going back to GW2, or Elder Scrolls.
Not sure if its “rose coloured glasses” or not but I cant remember in BC something being released and then it just was completely broken and could be exploited.
That’s a game breaking bug IMO and should be fixed the same day! but as usual if someone doesn’t profit from the bug it won’t be fixed for quite some time
