Beta isn’t for testing, it’s for promotion.
Im hoping it will be less. Both because the TBC beta will require much less work/time than classic, plus the prepatch portion can be tested pretty quickly. Just need a few weeks of people going 1-20 thru the zones
I don’t care if I get in or not. I am just happy the beta has started and we are one step closer to TBC launch.
I hope so too, brother.

I would love to get an invite myself! wow gods please
The best part is they were doomsaying TbC minutes before, then the second they hear about beta they rush in asap. Tomorrow they will be back to talking trash about it as the zealots eat it up.
And now complaining about dungeon xp.
I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a release date yet.
With beta being out I’m assuming it’ll be just a few months from now.
Do you think they will allow streamers to stream exploits live this time around without any repercussions?
one day you too can be in the cool kid club
I do not mind that streamers get in they do help create hype fpr the game. Although i wish they did let more normies in
I would definitely rather have TBC private sever gods on beta than normal people just bc people like metgoblin know pretty much what needs to be tested.
Ahh yes The Annual Pass thingy they did during Cata with guaranteed MoP beta access. I recall there being a lot of issues with getting folks into beta (and a lot of backlash), a bunch of people getting funneled in at the last moment, Blizz then being like ~well technically we didn’t guarantee any minimum amount of time in beta so enjoy the last few days of it~, something about guaranteeing beta access being a mistake that wouldn’t be repeated, etc.
The annual pass was more than worth it though, especially as it didn’t actually cost anything.
i have 6,000 hours /played (250 days), 3000 hours streamed, 6k subs on youtube, account made in 1999, subbed on 3 accounts, main account subbed in vanilla and tbc… smh
tetsu doesn’t even have beta lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
but ofc TOWELLIEE has beta
I am not even mad that I called this earlier, I am just disappointed. I have a feeling that Blizz is just going to attempt to turn this beta into a hype train instead of a method of working out the kinks. From what I understand, this time they have the actual data from back then and it is much less of a recreation effort than Classic was so hopefully it wont be as buggy.
If they feel it is to their benefit? Absolutely.
the best part of the Annual Pass was not having to pay for Diablo 3
You mean like hunters being bugged and unplayable in pvp for a 6+ months with the FD/Trap bug lol
That and many other bugs. I will enjoy the Classic TBC that we get, but I definitely do not trust that Blizzard is doing this as anything more than a way to boost MAU’s for the flagging retail side.
a streamer with only 100 viewers got in, you should create a stream bet u can get in too
