Hello everyone,
With the instructions here, and the command line installation, was very helpful. Was able to successfully launch the client despite both the install and now play buttons being “greyed” out.
The new issue relates to the fact the current WowB executable only sees 2 accounts, both starter accounts as those it associates to client, and am unable to have it see or reference my main account. My account is named from original vanilla, and isn’t designated as WoWx.
So currently have a few starter accounts that I play/test with and it seems it randomly selected WoW1 and WoW3 as my options, instead of my named main.
Since the battle.net client doesn’t have an account selection screen, anyone have an idea how to ensure when beta is live, that it will point to the correct account where I have the beta key purchased?

I am operating under the theory that, Blizzard hasn’t turned it on yet. I suspect that are going to treat it like a maintenance day, and open it up in the afternoon.

Well the issue is confirmed. It’s not looking at my main account but only selecting 2 starter accounts. So I cannot select the account with the beta access and sub.

Same issue. I have 3 accounts. My main acct is WoW1, my alt account UNSUBBED is WoW2, my EU F2P acct is WoW3. WoW1 is not available to select.

I have this same issue to mi main account is wow 2 with sub but it won’t show up only 1 and 3 show up

So the beta access account selector is messed up? I am just wondering because I bought keys for all my accounts but only WoW1 is showing up. I have tried everything suggested to fix it (manually logging in and changing password) but it still is acting like I only have the one account. Has Blizzard issued a response to this anywhere or is this just working as intended and only one account can have beta access?

This is an issue on their end. We will have to wait for them to resolve.

Yep, same here. 6 subaccounts and it shows the least used (starter account) and one that doesn’t even exist. The 5 used in the last year none of those show. Ugh.

AHH I have my real account and a wow1 and wow2 i made around the time of the movie, but I never use them

I’m trying to get confirmation, but so far I have found nobody who DOESN’T have the beta in their games list. Which makes me think blizzard is running this beta in a way that is causing confusion.
In past betas, having it in your list means you have access. However this time I think they just put it on the list for everyone, regardless of access, and it’s making people (like me) spend half the night trying to figure out how our accounts are bugged when we just aren’t actually supposed to be allowed in.

I just brought this up in regards to not being able to play 2 accounts on 1 PC ( I dual box ) and it seems that all WoW betas only allow 1 account access per email, not per account. So I’m only able to login to 1 account. As for which accounts your games are associated with, you can check that at us.account.battle dot net in your transaction history. It should show which of your accounts have access to Forever.

Odd, previous betas don’t show up in the transaction history. There is nothing in mine though so maybe blizzard really is just trolling people by putting it on the games list.

No, it doesn’t show beta access. It shows purchase history. So if you bought the Epic or Deluxe version of WoW Forever, then that account has beta access. The basic version of the game does not. You can check all that in your transaction history.

That is usually restricted to those with invites
