I main frost dk in wotlk classic and want to make a dk alt in retail. Seems like the gameplay is completely different. What’s better and more fun overall with a more engaging rotation?
I have been playing Bicepspump’s Rot King 2.0 build, he released a video about it a few days ago on his youtube channel. It focuses on your diseases, buffing your diseases to do more damage with plaguebringer, and having basically infinite defiles using a specific death coil legendary that reduces the cd on DND/Defile if you have it talented. It’s a wound-free build and it is incredibly fun in both mythic+ and raiding.
Sadly its really only going to be viable in prepatch due to the covenant/legendary/anduin ring requirements. Check it out while you can!
Ive always been a fan of UH (after dps blood was removed). I have always liked the focus on DOTs, and I’ve always seen the ghoul as a DOT, as well, so the addition of extra monions through apocalypse, and “all will serve.”
Try it out before you let others tell you it’s bad. Some people don’t like the “builder/spender” playstyle of wound bursting very fun, but a lot of people actually enjoy it. Just know that no spec feels complete before max level, and some feel better than others before that, so maybe give things a second chance in a month.
Enjoying UH a lot after the 10.0 changes. The spec mostly plays the same but abilities like SS and DC “feel” better to press and do more to buff your overall damage.
From a pve perspective, UH feels amazing. The super aoe is god tier burst.
Pvp wise… I haven’t had tbis much fun since original wrath.
Frost feels good. But is just the same as SL but improved some. Still, you can have a lot of fun with it. 70k fs crits ect.

Here is a build I have been trying out. I am sure it’s not the greatest but it is a mix of single, AOE, and DOT. Minions CDs hurt with this build is it’s main flaw.
