Best zone to level up a new alt

I’ve been told that the warlord’s zone is faster than others which is a good starting zone to level quickly quest wise for a new character.

dungeons are scary fast if you are leveling a tank or healer

and at low levels the scaling really boosts

i came back after a couple years and just kind of fell into bfa and it was fast too

I would suggest Pandaria. The zones are cool and pretty!

My preference is legion.
By the time youve done the 4 zones, youre level 50. Nice and quick.

I find the battle for Azeroth zones to be faster simply because of the quest grouping and progression. Having flying there (not sure if pathfinder is still required) should be the deciding factor as it speeds things up tremendously.

I just levelled a character through bfa and by the time i was done with the zones (did most of the side quests) i was level 42.
I did some of the war campaign, but the quests didnt seem worth it for the exp they gave.

Warlords used to be fast because the bonus objectives gave obscene amounts of XP. And you could basically just fly around Nagrand for the last two levels collecting treasures. I think that’s been nerfed since then.

But BfA is very quick to level in.

A buddy is leveling a DI Dwarf so we dusted off some old ally alts. I had a lvl 10 Space Goat Pally to tank with and our healer friend had a healer. Got do doing some random MoP instances and I was talking smack and linking meters the whole time. Told them my back hurt from carrying them and the like. The random people in the group were like "well yeah that’s because " and I was like “Yeah that’s what makes the smack talking funny”.

Unless you are a speed leveler and just wanna pound through it, it doesn’t really matter that much where you level.

I like to do Legions so I can get the Dalaran hearth and artifact weapons and such. But even if I use a different area, I will bounce through the Broken Isles at some point before 50. I’m currently leveling a Shaman through WoD and it’s been a nice nostalgic trip back in time :slight_smile:

I find the Legion zones incredibly fast to level through quests. Val’sharah, then highmountain, then azsuna. Not sure if you’ll even need more than those.
